Another reason for the double buff dispel could be several tanks have the clause “…when taunt expires, gain taunt…

NOT ONLY THAT but while your farming for see he can work as a leader with all the sith requirements, and then after you unlock see he just works with him in GA. hes fkin perfect all around even if you dont have see unlocked. this actually might be the first time i spend on conquest to unlock him as early as possible. anyone got any guides that can help me maximize crates for conquest?

Sounds like a fun and versatile character. I'd be curious to see how he'd do with a Traya omicron team, both as the lead and otherwise, replacing either Sion or Savage. But if you have SEE, I imagine just pairing the two of them up would be the most efficient thing to do.

For those who don't have Sith Eternal, he seems pretty incredible with Traya and Co. Scion doesn't do much for the team and having ANOTHER cooldown increase character would be nuts. His lead might even be better than Traya, who knows

The 2 layer buff dispel sounds like clearing buffs that are gained for more than 1 turn, like the Ninth Sister and her Taunt. But ye, foresight, then dispel all the rest of the buffs is also pretty useful :)

Looking at this, Bane and SEE are looking to be decent vs GL Leia. Immune to half of the debuffs she inflicts, loads of defensive stats, offense reduction up the wazoo, revive denial, max prot AND max health reductions from linked + siphon, 100% TM start to outrun them and unresistable CD increases. I think Darth Bane and SEE in GAC could 2 man counter GL Leia squads.

In regards to the double buff dispel. Some tanks when they lose taunt. Regain taunt again. So this will remove it twice. I'm guessing

I think the double dispel of his first special is more about mechanics like AdRads dispel trap where dispelling one buff applies more. Banes first dispel would trigger the trap and the second dispel neutralizes it.

I'm glad the Omi on the unique lets the benefits persist even when Bane is defeated. That way we don't need to worry if Bane gets bumrushed at the start of battle (like what sometimes happens with the armorer).

With his malevolent whirlwind ability it says to remove buffs twice and THEN deal damage twice. This would probably be for characters like SLKR who can gain buffs when buffs are dispelled like advantage in this specific case and since his ability does more damage per buff dispelled the double dispel just makes him do more damage twice

The Admiral Raddus or Iden teams get buffs when their "special" buff is dispelled. He could get those 2nd round of buffs off them aswell! really cool design :D

I doubt it will be worth taking away another team, but I’m curious to see how he’d do with with Malgus in a two man with both of them getting tons of max health and dealing damage based on their max health. Malgus would lose his Sith Empire synergies and it would have to be Bane lead but could be an option, especially in 3v3 where you usually see Malgus and Revan split anyway.

I don’t think she’ll be able to wipe him turn one as he can increase JMK’s cooldowns by 2, so she won’t be able to have the cooldown of her insta kill reset by JMK for at least 2 turns

JMK doesn't allow for TM manipulation so Bane's 100% turn meter gain at start of battle won't apply (or am I wrong), and JMK will 100% outrun him as a GL @@craig7481

I am planning to try this out with Darth Maul. Maul has scaling with Potency, Max Health, and Offense. All of which Bane amps. Should be worth testing for fun underdogs.
