In this excerpt, after the Emperor assigns Vader his first task of hunting down Clone Captain Climber and Commander Salvo for allowing Jedis Roan Shyrine, Bol Chatak, and Olee Starstone to flee during Order 66. James Luceno takes a moment to introduce us to our main character. In Legends, after Vader gets his suit, he's much weaker than he was pre-armor. Vader has to use the Force to walk and Vader had to learn to use simple body language in order to compensate for his lack of facial and eye expressions.

I love Vader's criticisms of his new suit. Especially the parts where Anakin's old cockiness shines through, like "Man, even I could've done a better job designing a suit like this, unlike those stupid droids."

I love this book and the description of the month after “Revenge of The Sith” of Vader’s life and inner dialogue. We can all have an idea of the depressing life that Anakin has to go through forever his life and his guilt of choosing this lifestyle of his. Tbh. I couldn’t live this life like Vader had. It’s too below as a human and depressing for one to live.

As I've stated before, I'm not going to stop uploading excerpts from novels. I've gotten many messages asking me about the ROTS novelization if it's complete. That is not my goal in this channel. It's just to upload excerpts for fun. I only put them in playlists to keep things organized. As for your request, I remember that excerpt being long, so I might have to split it into 2-3 parts. It's rather easy to immerse yourself in this story of perhaps the most well-known Star Wars character. _But this is somehow not frightening_ You are too saddened as you hear the reader describe Anakin's inner feelings as he comes to grips with his new *_"LiFe"_* to feel fear or anger. You pity Anakin, as you remember he *_IS_* still a living human inside all that black heavy armor. _But this does not subtract_ You pause the video to better hear your own inner thoughts, and you realize.... no, the lack of music oes not detract from the story. All in all, you think to yourself about the story you hear, and what abominations Disney and Kathleen Kennedy created. Upon thinking of this story, you realize.... _This is Canon_
