@@deviatlon had you paid attention to the dialogue in Episode 4 and 6 you hear that the Empire assumes Obi Wan is dead for an unknown reason. Tarkin assumes he is dead, as all the rest of the Jedi. Even though Obi Wan would only be in his 50s/60s and very possibly alive. Vader also states that the last time he felt Obi Wans presence, was with Palpatine. We never got to see these things. In Episode 6, there is a major plot hole. Luke says "Come with me" and Vader responds with "Obi Wan once thought as you do." We never saw Obi Wan do this in the movies, all he did was confront Anakin about what he did, and kicked his ass and left him for dead. Never did he try to turn Anakin back to the light.
