It's so dark, gritty, cinematically powerful, and tragic I just love it so much. Everything about it is absolutely superb from the graphics/environment, the music, the sound design, the duality of Anakin/Vader showcased with that incredible transition between the column Vader to Anakin to Vader, the tragically nostalgic voice references and how it all ties back to him and what he must be thinking in his mind at the time, especially since this is a time period where he is still more Anakin then Vader or at least at extreme conflict so early on after Revenge of The Sith.

@@johnlesser1523 Yeah, honestly Vader in Kenobi was exactly where he needed to be. It's called character development. Much like Anakin was in Revenge of the Sith, he was powerful and intimidating, but he was also reckless and his emotions made him act with impaired judgement. Not to mention that the whole reason he started down the dark side, was out of fear for losing Padme. Now, she's gone, and he's essentially betrayed everyone for no reason. Finding Kenobi, the one who 'took her from him' within his own mind, denying himself as the cause, it's perfectly in character for him to have screwed up and lost to Kenobi. It doesn't deprive him of the menacing effect, but elaborates on his journey to that point.

Both parts one and two have aged so well. Having just re-watched part 1, in 2024, the thing that let it down was the size of the set used. That's it. Not the acting, not the fx, not the costumes or the make up, the one thing that showed that this wasn't an actual mega budget production was that the room was too small. Amazing. In the animated segments none of that applies, and it looks and sounds amazing. I hope the evil lucasfilm empire don't discourage you from this continuing this wonderful service to the old fans. This is amazing~!! It is beyond pathetic disney can't actually make a movie feel like this short made me feel and I am guessing here but you all felt that shiver down the spine yes?, worst part is they got the resources to do so and still they manage to f up. Kudos to you man this is golden.

You sell the simbolism of Vader as an absolut GOD, you really know who he is and you knew to make it happen in a scene, you are great.

Palpatine: so wait a minute you’re telling me in that last mission you guys did nothing? Clone: well yeah I mean we were asking vader what his orders were and he just dramatically wanders off in silence so we just stood there. He’s kinda weird my lord.

This is probably the best Star Wars content I have ever seen, it capsulates the lore perfectly, it’s graphics are chefs kiss, and not too mention, the overall look and depth of it makes it feel like a movie. Love your work. Keep it up. 👍

Whenever you hear Padme’s haunting reverberated voice that’s when you know that the last place anyone should be is right next to Vader.

Been watching you since 2016, my senior year in high school - graduated college this May with 2 degrees, getting married in December...still watching!!! Your content is incredible and really thought-provoking. I wish I'd continued with the creativity I had for SW (I wrote a meager script for Episode 7 when I was in 5th Grade back in the day...hahaha). That being said, this CINEMATIC. I would be first in line for a ticket to see this in theaters man. Epic. Can't wait to see the finished product. MTFBWY
