Now that the Summer holidays are over, heritage railways across the country have begun reining in their intensive timetables in favour of more relaxed services.
The Dartmouth Steam Railway, while not strictly speaking a heritage railway, has also followed the same pattern. This week marks the final week of the year for utilising their Orange timetable. While only in use during the mid-week, the Orange timetable sees two trains operating over the line throughout the day. The resident pairing of 75014 "Braveheart" and 7827 "Lydham Manor" took up the mantle for operations, working over the line's length between Paignton and Kingswear on the 'English Riviera'.
