@@wavell14 I think its more city v provincial if I’m being frank - just as it is with the media. You’d think everyone in Scotland supports Celtic and Rangers. And lets not forget the stadium seating issue way back that impacted smaller (except Celtic) clubs and of course that closed cartel that is the SPL that decided that 12 team set up was enough of a financial pie to carve up? Falkirk can take any team you out them up against and it would still make great football to watch. So, do I think reporting and the SFA are remiss on a number of issues? Of course they are. Falkirk FC have lost many a game on very poor linesman and referring quality. Its well known. Then there’s the psychology of football. Don’t get me started.

Any longer in the game and it would have been 7-1, 8-1. Falkirk FC always breakdown the opposition over time. Even the Darevl ‘Own goal’ was a one off fluke which can happen from time to time. Sure Darvel put up a fight (mostly trying to brutalise the opposition - hence the amount of yellow cards and the sending off) but hey, I wish them well, but c’mon, it was always going to be a convincing win for Falkirk FC despite all the BBC bias towards them.

This was always likely to be a step too far for Darvel. Against us there was no expectation or pressure on them. After beating us (deservedly), the expectation levels increased, the talk was all about Darvel, there was pressure on them to repeat their giant killing exploits. On another note. There has to be better commentators than this clown. He's absolutely brutal.
