Reavis Ranch was nice. It was a great change of scenery from more traditional desert environment just west. I did a 92 mile loop through the Supes back in Jan 2014, I love that place!

@steve ducell we did the Reavis Ranch Trailhead all the way to the ranch and back. About 25 miles. Did it in 4 days. Spent a lot of time exploring. Love it!

Going to be following this closely. I live near the Southern beginning of the AZT. Can you share more about the water sources locations. I fairly familiar with the Eastern face of the Huachucas, not so much with the Western face . I will be hiking the JMT this season but then am considering section hiking the AZT. I can no way do the kind of miles you do so the water sourcing is of concern for me. I'm short with short legs, female and 77 years old, so maybe 8-10 miles a day.
