Friend, if you missed all Daryl did with Sherbet back to the early 70's YOU are in for a Wonderful Blessing: Start with Slipstream. I enjoyed my weekend with Anthology - listen to "Freedom" - the words are so VERY now. Then listen to Higher than Hope and Rise. Sounds to me like you just gained a whole WORLD of the best Australian band that has ever performed. EVER. I know that's a big call, but listen to Daryl in "Freedom" and do the air drums in the BEST drum solo ever and tell me I'm wrong Friend! Much Love and GOD Bless Daryl.

How this song has been allowed to fade into the shadows of history while The Horses remains is criminal.

The chorus is a bit lacking. The guitar riff and the verses are top notch though.

100% agreed. I have to put up with the very gay kindergarten tune "The horses" almost every day on Easy 80s digital radio meanwhile This track, All I do, Let me be & Higher than hope are forgotten. Sad.

My brother went to Ozzy from NZ to live, he sent me this CD and Tommy Emanuel's first album. Fell in love with this song for about a year, then I was watching Baywatch and lo and behold, this song was on an intro. Still love it.

first English song I was introduced to in the old country, before learning the language post immigration, late 90s. took me years before I found that drum/ guitar in the chorus again, into the early to mid of the past decade.. almost dream like, how the days went by

I know so many of his songs from when I was growing up, but I never knew that they were all Daryl, youtube is lovely for chasing the past and getting really nostalgic haha I miss the uplifting spirit you can only seem to find in older music, modern music doesn't move your soul like the past
