This song is fresh without being not Hall & Oates. For those haters i have a question: Have you watched "Live from Daryl's House?" I thank Daryl everyday for making that happen. The way music is played, enjoyed, reinvented and performed shows that it's all about music. Feeling it. Doing it for the right reasons and it's not about labels. Quality 100%. Period.

I didn’t grow up in Philly. But I grew up in New Jersey which is across the Delaware River from the city. And I been to and passed through Philly many times. My college was only 20 minutes from Philly as well. I have since moved to California and this song brings back good memories (and coincidentally, Hall & Oates mentions California in this song).

I love this! I am a Hall & Oates fan and they do a great job of putting together a modern day pop hit. I feel some of the more subtle parts of the song (like the classic 70s R&B guitar riff at 50 seconds) get overlooked by people because this doesn't sound like classic Hall & Oates. I dig it and I hope this turns into a new album for them!

You are right. They don't really know them. Hall & Oates is not "this" or "that"... they are music. They can do anything because they know how to do it and they don't limit themselves to one thing.
