Its easy. Analyse how "normal" people act and act like them. Thats what i do. Im 19 and i think i mastered the art of acting normal. Laugh when other people laugh. Smile when other people smile. Be serious when other people are serious etc. Its way easier than you think. You can see that she don't really smile or laugh unless she hear someone laugh Ps don't use this technique with your friend and family. A relation should always be legit

Well being married to someone who performs benefit concerts to raise money for “Autism Speaks” (a hate group that advocates for ABA therapy, which is basically like conversion therapy but for autistic people) doesn’t help matters. I just can’t understand the cognitive dissonance around that. Daryl Hannah is autistic, yet she’s married to a man (in this case, singer Neil Young) who basically views her condition as an aberration and as something that needs to be cured. It’s sad that Daryl Hannah suffers from so much internalized ableism that she would marry a man who doesn’t think that she’s good enough the way she is. Basically, what happens with neurotypicals - most people on the planet - is that there is a pruning, a natural process that removes unnecessary synapses and neural connections from the brain to make it more efficient. It occurs throughout life, but is most pronounced during development. In autists - like myself and Daryl -this pruning process doesn't happen. The outcome is that we have a unusual sensitivity to input from the environment which our brains have to deal with and we cannot go through any experience on automatic. As to how we cope with the social world, an analogy might be that we are downloaded, at birth - actually this all starts prenatally in the womb - a complicated graphic equalizer to cope with and all the labels are missing and we have to analyse each button and switch and dial to find out which one works what and neurotypicals get a press/play button which makes it a lot easier! That is why we appear socially awkward. We also have this extra body language which is called 'stimming'. Stimulated by an inner need, an outer expression linked to the overcrowding of input and the resultant emotions. Therefore stimming is quite essential to our mental health. We do tend to mask it, if we can, in order to blend in and this is instinctive mirroring of other people. This is why you get excellent actors who are also autistic. masking through can be exhausting because we are, socially, permanent actors. We can easily get overwhelmed by unexpected noise, loud noise, bright or flickering lights and crowded environments. We get the world set by default at maximum volume. That also means that we get information from that environment that many dismiss automatically. That can lead to people who are problem solvers who see normally obtuse routes to solutions. People like Temple Grandin for instance. It is very possible that the first flint tools and spears were invented by an Aspie sitting in a cave by themselves because neurotypicals would be uneasy sitting round a camp fire with them.

Once someone has already decided you're an idiot they react as if everything that comes out of your mouth is one joke after another and begin looking for the absurdity in what you're saying; even if there isn't any really. You can say the most ordinary, unremarkable thing and your panel of judges react like its the most stupid thing anyone has ever said. I hate watching that. I think she did a pretty good job of explaining the points she phrases in unusual ways when she was given the chance. Jay was obviously determined to make mincemeat out of her. I hate people like him. You can see the orgasmic thrills of self esteem validation on his face as he gets to play the superior smartass.
