This XJ is absolutely beautiful. I drove a stock 1994 XJ...professionally, I guess you could say...as my work rig for a few years on unmaintained roads and logging skid trails in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. While it was probably the most capable 4x4 I ever drove in my career for navigating a host of pretty sketchy situations, I would give almost anything to stuff this bad boy into the Wayback Machine and take it back to the younger me to replace that ride...

I'm envious! Wish I had my old Jeep. I now have a 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude. Would love to trade it for a Jeep like this! I hated to loose my old 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Had it for 12 wonderful years until Mineke destroyed the engine. Keep up the good work Davis Auto Sports!

It’d be nice to learn more about how all this comes together! I have a 99 gunmetal pearl 2 wheel drive that was my first car that I got back from a family friend that helped sold it and had it for 6 years. I plan on doing a lot to it on my own, so having aftermarket part lists and how to’s would be straight butter! Side note* Having access to stuff like that from a reputable company like yours would help young people like me with XJ’s and not a whole lot of money get them to where they want them to be and it wouldn’t take away from your business because people will always rather buy than all the restoring work. Just an idea and opinion though. I subscribed and can’t wait to see more XJ videos hopefully more in depth and what the undercarriage looks like ! Thank you so much!

This is a fantastically mind-blowing restoration! The only objection @4:23 '... nothing worse than ... etc." Hiding exhaust tip may be aesthetically desired (depending on the appearance the tip) but extending exhaust beyond the footprint of the car is a matter of safety.

I have an 02 Tj. I just put a new stroker motor in. Its clean,but I'm only a mechanic. I have taken it as far as I can. Needs paint, no rust on this southern gem, minor suspension lift ect. Mostly all cosmetic. Where are you located. I will gladly driver Ole Blue to you. An fly home ??!!

That gunmetal Jeep is exquisite, it's better than Factory new. It said it was for sale but apparently it isn't, the only problem is you have no badges. Other than that it's an Exquisite car again.

Wow!!! This is very impressive for me being European in France, it's fantastic, I would like to have this in Europe, but what happens with the co2 emissions, the homologation, the actual Normes Euro 6....? It will be possible to buy this jeep from USA to Europe?? I know a Team in Spain restoring Land Rover Defender and selling it to Mexicans or other countries...so I think you could sell this to Europe too... I'm interested to buy one of this Jeep!
