Given the truck is 1. Travelling faster than the lane next to it And 2. Knowingly too large for that turn I'm going to say the truck is overtaking the cars, not the other way around

​@traj7196 I'm not sure I understand what you mean, since trucks are allowed to straddle both lanes when turning and you are required to give way to them.

@@BigRedsCrib if you look up the regulations regarding how this is done you'll find that trucks are required to start their straddle prior to the turn (up to 50 metres). They can't just bully their way into established traffic queues and expect everyone to get out of their way. I'm not saying this driver did bully their way in, but this short clip doesn't do them any favours either.

Need to go read the heavy vehicles driving manual mate. If the truck drive knew he was going to do that he's supposed to straddle lanes before the intersection. There was plenty of room for cars to be on the outside of him if he was only turning left I'd say he realised half way through the turn he needed to be over to the right. Can't blame the cars for not wanting to remain on the inside of him at that point. Truck driver made his own bed.

@@_Zekken The camera is part of the self-driving system. It's designed to feed a picture to a computer in all lighting conditions, not create great videos.
