@allmhuran2 жыл бұрын
This is the intersection of Cleveland and Regent St in Chppendale (inner west) Sydney. This video did make the lanes seem ambiguous, but they're not. The issue here seems to have been that several cars ahead were all moving rightwards one lane (two on purpose with indicators on, one possibly accidentally or just on purpose with no indicator). The cars in front and on the left may have been avoiding traffic or some kind of obstruction down the hill. That rightwards drift seems to have influenced the cammer as well as the car to the cammer's left, in a "follow the pack" sort of situation. The cammer noticed the markings and corrected but the car on their left did not, either because they were still unaware of their mistake and just following the pack, or because they also noticed the obstruction and just merged without looking. A weird herd mentality situation I'd say.

Some of these people need to look up 'contributory negligence'. Just because you have right of way doesn't necessarily mean you're not at fault. If evidence like dashcam footage can prove that you had reasonable time to brake, swerve or otherwise reasonably avoid the accident from occurring but didn't, you may be forced to repay part of the damages. If excessive speed, dangerous driving, negligence or drugs or alcohol were involved you may be found entirely at fault. It is your responsibility as a driver to not just follow road rules, but be alert, drive at an appropriate speed with regard to your surrounding conditions and drive safely in all circumstances.

I have been watching these videos for a long time and I have noticed that things are definitely getting worse. If you have seen Russian dash cams a lot of it looks the same. People moving over as though they are the only ones on the road, going through red lights, aggressive arrogant driving and speeding just to name a few. When this entitlement attitude gets into peoples driving then we are all in danger not just the people involved in whatever incident that’s happening

Australian drivers are becoming worse than Russian drivers. Ruskies have vodka, our poor standard is caused by bad attitude and meth.

13:15 where do I get one of them from?

Likely a custom job, or could have built it themselves. As to the driver over the pedestrian area, probably didnt realize he could have turned after the light went red, already across the line when the light changed.

Twice with the unsecured loads! C***s who don't secure their cargo should get a $10K fine plus six months in the slammer if it hurts someone. No friggen excuses for that.

11:30 I agree with the cammer, that was a really shit skid. Needs to turn in his licence just for that poor effort.

Amazing how many people can't nut this situation out: double lanes going the same way, if one lane has 10 cars in it, and the other lane doesn't, people be the hero and speed on down the vacant lane; 99.8% of times in that que there is also an impatient melt who's gunna do the ol no look quick duck out and 'make progress', and pull out infront of you last minute. Find it hilarious when people pick the spare runway, and zoom on down it thinking everyone in the chock a block lane is going to stay put, never the case XD Yeah pick the lane with next to no cars in it, but go careful, bet you billion bucks some nonce will want to pull out quickly. 9:08 is a perfect example XD Hurrr duhhhhh
