one very important thing that nobody mentions, even the manufactures is: the operating temperature minimum and maximum operating values, in some countries where with low temperatures in winter and high in summer these cameras may not last long or work properly

Hey Doppelganger, your dashcam looks identical to my Navman brand one; screen layout, fonts, buttons and so on. Probably one and the same. We looked for weeks to find the best dashcam for our dollar and chose this one. Good pick! "Twas thinking of you the other day driving from Sydney to Gold Coast in our 40 ft. motorhome, wondering if your working life was like those of the Australian truckers I saw at truck stops. Mr Tee My car (hardly top end ( a near poverty spec Toyota Yaris Hybrid) all ready has collision avoidance, Lane departure , auto dimming of full beam , reading of road side signs . So I do not need any of that stuff what I would want is better optics (without paying an arm and a leg). Length of wire is fine (well in a car no idea about in a truck). Tbh it allready has a rear view camera and all these cameras/sensors on the front (well mounted top centre of the wingdshield I can't see it being long before all this data/signal is routed to some sort of screen and recorder so dash cams become a thing of the past . It's not like self driving cars all the parts are there it just needs someone to combine them.
