Dash Camera has 4 Cameras for all around car views

@jc7625, thank you, I really like the 4 cam views. When you put the memory card in your PC, you will see you have 4 files, one for each view. D, driver, f, front, m, passenger, r, rear. I do not know reason for M as passenger. There are two files for each video, one is the video and the other is like a thumbnail. This is the best dash cam I have owned, and I have had a number over the years. It performs great and you will be happy I am sure. How came the gfg app can only see the front camera only, what happened to other 3 cameras in the app

Decent video, I liked the explanations, I'm going be doing a pickup truck with bed cap, I can't find any info on rear cam cable length. What was your cable length? Thanks

@toolman4havc I have not measured the rear cam cable, I had plenty of cable to go from my Dash cam in center of windshield to the back window of my 2020 Mini Cooper Countryman. I would judge to be from 25 to 30 feet, I had cable coiled up at the end. I followed the door frames and up the front door post and over the visors. Hope that will help.

Good review and very informative, thanks. But, what was with the abrupt ending to your video, did you run out of "film," or what? It was very "The Sopranos"-like in the way it just cut off.

@Planet Hedgehog, you are correct, I did have an issue with the ending. I had my GoPro videoing and also the Dashcam with 4 different view and the video was already up to over 18 min. I saw the video would have been another 5 min of unnecessary video. I saw I was left with a cut off ending, but no way to correct other than doing the drive again. I figured, most people got the idea by the end. Too many cameras to deal with and edit it all together. Sorry for the "Sopranos" ending.

Hello Sam im looking to buy the 4 channel dash cam but i am curious as to how the sound quality like say a bad cop on the out side of the car, and is the recording you made the sound from the dash came or the camera you had in the back of the vehicle? thanks for your response.

@MSR0317 I have listen to the audio of us riding in the car and the audio is at a good level and quality to hear all. I have not had opportunity to test for audio fro outside of car. I would think if all are quiet in car you would hear someone talking outside the window. This dash cam has been the best success of all dash cam’s I have reviewed. No one has comments of bad audio.

Thanks for the video The rear camera works just as backup camera or it does record everything while driving? That in case someone hit your rear bumper and you can have the license plate number and everything needed? Thanks

@EstebanViquez all four cameras are recording all the time the car is turned on. You can view the 4 views by removing the memory card and install in your computer.

@EstebanViquez I did not connect the red lead to the reverse light. If you want a recorded driving view. Don’t connect the red wire on rear camera.

@36boys, no I do not use the app. The only important thing to me is having a driving record to support evidence in case of accident. Also to catch a Viral Video of events captured while driving for my KZbin Camers.

Does it stay on during the night while it’s parked and you sleeping in the house? Basically 24hr surveillance?

@youmad most car power ports go off when you turn the key off or power the car down. That will turn the cam off. If you have power to the cam it will record all the time.

You can use it seperate from the camera. The display will be in reverse as it is a reverse Camera for a rear view mirror view.
