Thanks for this video. I got one of these and am having fun steaming all sorts of vegetables. I steamed a cut up apple also which turned out great! I have the mini dash rice cooker, too, and it also works great for things other than rice.

Yes!!! It is really up to you. I like to try things out plain and simple first, this way I can make sure I don't goof it up. This morning just as I'm replying to you, I made scrambled egg/unions/spam and it was so perfect!!! Thanks for the comment Slatch!!!
