Hi. I've recently installed one of these dashes. Great video here to cover off the basics of getting setup! Can you tell me if the initial power up screen can be customized? Perhaps add a photo or other branding to appear when the dash is first powered up.

Hi Jared, We're glad you liked the video! In answer to your question.... yes, you can customize the power up screen. This can be changed by using the Race Studio software.

I'm planning on doing a body swap of a 1500 Goldwing onto a 2004 1800 Goldwing now the instrument cluster on the 1500 is old school where the speedo uses a cable on the 1800 it is electrical. Now there are dash lights that function for various things like Reverse, Side Stand, Cruise on Cruise set, FI light which also is a trouble shooting light if for any reason the engine has a fault. Now there is a ECU but no OB2 output. Are there any functions for adding more information in the instrument set up.

Just got a used race car that has a AIM dash, on startup it says MXG 1.2. The previous owner never set it up. My question is that this is a Carburated car with absolutly no ECU at all. Can I still use this dash? if so how do I hook up multiple sensors, for example oil pres, coolant emp, fuel pressure etc? I would really like to use this dash if I am able to.

Best bet would be to look up the aim dash itself since its not an actual link part its just visually branded link same thing with their can gauges they are actually gaugeart gauges

What if your plug n play only has the one can port (350z) g4+. And currently using them for can lambda wideband?

Do I need the ecu to use this dash? Or can I use my stock ecu ?

It looks like he soldered to pin 4 and 5 not 3 and 4 ? Was it just a example?

These dashes are powered by AiM Technologies and manufactured at their facilities in Italy.

How do you connect the Whideband canbus and the dash canbus to the ecu with only one canbus port?

They "T" off. Have a look at the CANBUS wiring in the help file of PC Link for more info. If you still have issues, then contact our tech team who will be glad to help.
