YES the actions of the other person are mostly the cause of it all and should be found at fault for damages but I really dont think your insurance would pay this out as you being innocent. So all it would take is a little too much inadvertent throttle added to a rwd car with shit loads of low-end torque. Sweeten to taste with cheap, older or bald tyres. The trick is to apply a little throttle before going into the turn, and coast through the apex.
