Topanga Canyon was my playground when I used to work in Malibu. It was quite a drive to work everyday but I loved it and never regretted it 🌊🌞🏖 Love California

I love how long Ventura Blvd. is--it just goes on and on and on and on... and full of attractive shops and restaurants all along the boulevard. And of course, Topanga Canyon is just a beautiful area as you drive through the Santa Monica Mountains. Thank you so much for this drive as I miss being in the Los Angeles area!

@@everforward8651 California is a hell hole right now. I live at the heart of it. Everything is falling apart here. The homeless epidemic, cost of living, traffic and Newsom as the helm is an absolute disgrace.
@everforward86514 жыл бұрын
@@seekeroftruth101 I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, brother. But, I'm going to do it reluctantly, as there are a lot of people online who just like to spread misinformation, and or exaggerate the bad things of a place or situation. Because most of us human beings tend to be evil. And, this is tendency is why, by the way, so many people buy into the media bullshit about the pandemic being the end of the world, and lying about it being out of control, and etc. A lot of people actually want California to be a hellhole, whether it is or not. Just as they want there to be a pandemic, with the horrible economic and social consequences. People also tend to see what they want to see--but that works both ways (and when I use the word "people," I mean the common people.) I didn't want to think of California as a Paradise, replete with beautiful scenery, Hollywood and TV actors, and the perfect climate, and so on and so forth--while ignoring the mudslides, the earthquakes, and the fires (all of which have always plagued the state.) So, I've done my research, and I've used my brother, who lives near LA, as a reference. He's said that he loves California, but that the cost of living estate and the traffic are too much. His wife and he might move to Arizona after he retires. In the meantime, I could stay with him until I got settled out there--which is an advantage that a lot of newcomers to the state don't have. At any rate, my conclusion is that California is a beautiful place, a sort of paradise, but it has severe problems which it's always had, but which have been exacerbated in recent years. A person has to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of a place before settling there (after researching it--which includes spending time there.) Maybe you're a photographer who specializes in portraits or publicity shots--because, even from your perspective on the state, someone in your profession would probably find many, many exquisitely beautiful scenes to photograph outside, and in nature. Anyway, I wish you and your family much peace, prosperity, and good health in 2021--and, if you don't move from California, may your experience there drastically improve. PS I'm a liberal, but I hear you about what you're implying about liberals in your state. I don't know much about Newsome, but as for that ludicrous, self-serving hag Pelosi, she needs to go (and, I mean yesterday.)

@@amuxpatch2798 I love it for the infrastructure - spacious and spread out. It's got nothing to do with it being glamorous. It's just that for us in Europe it's the opposite of what we have. I still think it's better than Europe in many ways. California has the weather, sea, mountains, desert - it's insane the choice you have. I would live there no problem. GOOD LORD I thought the red lights in Michigan were long...no the red lights in Cali are wayyyyyyy too long!!!! I'm so impatient!!!
@jasonplatt22284 жыл бұрын
The lack of traffic due to Covid-19 make the lights seem longer then they really are. In the Las Vegas, NV area where I live now, I recall reading that they adjusted many of the lights to reflect the much fewer cars on the street during Covid-19, but now the street traffic is starting to get heavier now as the city has started to open back up.
