Well, you can’t judge a book by its cover. I’ve dashed to a prestigious neighborhoods where they’ve given zero tip. I drove way out of my way for two bottles of water from a convenient store. Yes, it was late and I was desperate for some orders but that clinched it for me for that night. God bless you in taking care of your family by working your tail off.

100% agree. We should definitely be allowed to rate the customers. Some of them get away with so much and they know it.

Absolutely we should be able to rate customers!!!! ..and also favorite customers :) And they should be able to favorite us as well. I do have a lot of repeat customers but new Orleans is actually pretty small so it's not that surprising. My day was a hot mess today everything went wrong lol. Hopefully this weekend is better 🤞 Wishing you all the money and considerate customers 🤑

My DD bag zipper broke a week after I started dashing. So I called support and told them and asked if they could send me a new one and they sent me a free one. Yay!

I have a full time job but deliver in the evenings and weekends. I can pulse come home and start prepping dinner or put a load of clothes, then go back to dashing.

Hey Mama! I agree that delivery drivers should be able to rate customers. As a customer, when I receive great service, I’m always more than happy to give the delivery person an honest and detailed review of how well they did. Hoping you have a wonderful and safe weekend! Take care 😊

I totally agree with rating the customer! Yesterday I had a customer who was a hand it to me and she lived in a house that was divided into 4 apartment units! Do you think she said which door was hers? Nope! Then come to review my orders at the end of the day she had also not given me a tip! DoorDash had added money to the base to get someone (Me) to accept it! So it would also benefit DoorDash to know this so they don’t have to offer more money. I also have accepted an order from a woman twice who does not tip, she comes through as a stacked order, each time it was the end of my Dash and I accept because she is on my way home, but would love to alert other dashers who may be getting her the rest of the time.

We used to be able to rate deliveries at least and put a comment in but they took that away. They said they were gonna give us the ability to ban a customer ourselves but that didn't happen. And also pay extra for longer deliveries and surprise.......didn't happen.

Some days can be really slow. Peak times are key. I usually go home and go out at busier time. Just as you did.

Do you have any flexibility around lunchtime during the week? I recently started driving with DeliverThat and Dlivrd, and both do catering. DeliverThat isn't very busy in my area, and I've only had 2 orders in the past month. However, I just accepted a Dlivrd order for tomorrow lunchtime for $57. It's only expected to take me about a half hour. I did a small order today for $28. I find it worthwhile to just work in these orders during my lunch hour of my WFH job. DD is oversaturated in my area, and since I'm not a top dasher, I can't seem to ever get online. I enjoyed watching your video, as always!

I honestly cannot with customers who think we’re mind readers and should just know which door/house/whatever they’re at without telling us. I had one recently where the guy was in a hotel.. yet makes no mention it’s a hotel, oh and you needed a key card to get in the building. But he still wouldn’t come out to meet me. I had to find someone to let me in the hotel. It’s just aggravating and time wasting. If you live in a unique building (like a damn hotel) they should mention it in the details and how to get to the door if it’s confusing.

You need to tell Ron to implement prop 22. And not cancel so many orders because that’s why you keep getting the crappy ones. I’ve been too dasher for 6 months and my orders average $10 plus per order.

Worked yesterday. 3 dollars to go 6 miles and I'd have to go to the mall for an Auntie Anne pretzel, hard no. Then go almost 9 miles, 6 dollars for Crumble Cookies, also a hard no. BTW, the DD bags are junk. Used it a few times, zipper broke, it's junk. I have a great Shipt bag I like to use.

I love UE’s. I have my free yr membership at Costco. I primarily do UE’s here in Peoria, IL. I do DD every once in awhile. I turned it on the other night and scheduled for 30 mins and made $13.50. Usually DD takes me to parts of town I don’t want to go to and my AR is at 47%. I took 2 orders declined one and it went from 49% to 47%. I don’t understand

I am so upset, I have been dashing for a few months only, and they are already saying that I violated contract because a customer said they did not receive order, I always deliver my orders when I say I do. Has this happened to you

Don't worry I think it's happens to all dashers at some point or another. Take good pics and try to get the address in the pic if possible. If you have a feeling somebody is shady and it's a hand it to me, record the handoff (just like keep your phone in your hand .. don't have to be in there face or obvious) or take a pic of the house/apt before you leave. It's a problem if it keeps happening but if it's your first violation don't sweat it too much. Write your side of the story and then just keep going :) after 100 deliveries the red alarming notification goes away and you'll think Abt it less 🌻

It hasn't happened to me but another dasher. she took a picture she said & still got a violation. but you can appeal it I guess and possibly have it removed. and something about it falling off after 100 dashes. hope that helped.

Have u called on it yet with support? Do not worry i had a guy claim I didn't deliver his food. I called support n told em he's lying. I did. I had a picture of his porch. Dd also can check our location. My violation was removed n I just moved forward with my shift the next day even tho I was disappointed I had a customer lie on me. Dd does also remove violations as well as low ratings after a certain amount of deliveries as well. Either way it will be taken off. It's unfortunate we have ppl doin stuff like that for free food. But just kno dd will fix it and it sucks but there are good customers out there and more money to be made. Just keep on making that 💰 🤑 💸 ❤

2000 deliveries, it used to be 1000 but they recently changed it...they only pay after you apply for FSLA and whatever that doesn't cover then uber will cover the rest but if you're low income I would think the FSLA would cover most if not all..I haven't applied yet because I have to do the FSLA first and also track down all my transcripts from previous schools
