LOVE this and miss Dime and Vinnie! At 22 and 23, I lived with my headset (and walkman lol) on and it was always "Cowboys From Hell" and then "Vulgar Display of Power" non stop (cassettes, so I'd stop only long enough to turn it over or change tapes). HUGE part of my 20's. Thank you for doing this one!

For me and for most people who play guitar, Dime is the best of all time, and for some he isnt, but he 100% changed the way you play. He was so unique, technique, sound, vibrato, legato EVERYTHING man. He came to rock and rocked like no other. Great reaction and you should do more Pantera like Mouth For War, A New Level, This Love...

Dime and Vince were brothers. Imagine being six feet away from your brother as he gets murdered right in front of you. This band was a HUGE part of my adolescence growing up here in the Arlington area where they're from. It was a shock to all of us when it happened.

Like EVH, dime had one of those monster tones people chase to the end of the earth. He was also a top bloke from what I hear always getting drunk at shows and making friends. EVH actually buried his original "bumblebee" guitar with Dime which says a lot. Also Vinnie absolute monster drummer master of the double kick. The thing is seems Phil Anselmo messed Pantera around and left them hanging - which makes the reunion with replacement members feel a bit cheap to me... sure he feels bad but it's kinda too late.
