Once again my respect for Su has been taken to new heights. Of course I knew that she is good, but this still came as a surprise. I agree about her enunciation, I have never heard another Japanese artist that sounds that clear. For a Japanese learner, her Japanese is much better to understand than most people's. And when watching this, it becomes clear that that's not by chance, she obviously puts a lot of effort and care into the movements and shaping of her mouth. She is a real pro.

As a Japanese learner myself, I agree completely. I suppose that her clear pronunciation is also due to her professional entertainment training from a young age on. Her well distinguishable "u" sounds, dipthongs and full mora of e.g. "n" syllables remind me a bit of German "stage pronunciation" of, e.g., and over-emphasised rolling "r" so it can me more clearly heard in the back rows of a theatre. Also, I might be completely imagining it and have just fallen for Su's heavenly voice. Also, Moa's harmonies are lovely. And that's hard to do too with such precision and clarity.

I just can't get enough of this Piano version and we didn't even have the live version coming soon right after album release, they also announced Asian and Australian live tour and later they will go to US Festival like Blue Ridge and Louder Than Life, hopefully you'll get the chance to see them live. This is an extremely beautiful version with piano and strings arrangements by Kota Hatamiya aka HATAMIYAMETAL and Takehiro Mamiya aka Yuyoyuppe aka YUPPEMETAL who is also the composer of the original version. I believe it's fair to give kudos to them. So glad you noticed their incredible costumes (my favorite by far) and their perfect hair styling. Well it's easier to keep your hair perfect when you are not headbanging all the time. 🤣In my opinion, these kind of little things says a lot about their attention to the detail. About the Sony vs. Amuse thing... Sony, or more properly, RAL / Sony Music Entertainment is their North American market distributor. I can't find a closer connection but Amuse states that they have worked with several Japanese entertainment companies in the past. This is the beauty of the modern on-line marketing. 😁 Until next time!

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。(UK people is lucky. Sabaton tour featuring BABYMETAL as a special guest will start from Leeds on April 14 then London, Cardiff and Glasgow.) These female artists depict various images by singing and project them into the listeners' brain. The waves by those images come and go and make me move emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL. And thank you Koba for your serendipity. Some 13 years ago, you certainly discovered something amazing and sacred for us. Speaking of the three figures in white hood adding some background vocals, they are certainly homage to BM's girlhood with original three girls. I assume, however, they are the same girls who performed Doki Doki Morning as clone BABYMETAL in Makuhari last January. The combination of their heights reminded me of them dancing face-to-face with Su, Moa and Momoko.

Babymetal trained this like any other live show do they (this performance is very similar to a live show). And they train like crazy. It's spot on. The amazing pronunciation, it's not because of the Japanese language, is all Su-metal, she works with feeling and amazing precision. Something else which gives this an other layer of amazing: Did you notice how when they walked in how you could hear their clothes ? But did you hear them take any breathes like many other artists on this channel ? No ? This means: amazing breath control was involved to perform this song. Many artists have done 2 songs on this channel, I hope we get an other Babymetal one.

I just found about this version just a few days ago as I was listening to their playlist on Spotify and it's one of the last songs on the list. My first thought was, "PLEASE let there be a video performance of this!". It's an incredible performance. I'm a 56 year old metalhead. This band has given me so much that I didn't know I needed.

I think Kobametal fully knew what he was doing, sending in Su and Moa to draw a line the sand, and show them what an emotional performance is. Babymetal needs to put out an unplugged album...Even in this simple environment, Su is still the perfect performer, with her expression and gestures... Akatsuki Unfinished is still my tear jerker from Su, but this is running a close second in terms of emotional performances....sorry No Rain No Rainbow from Legend S XX... I've seen some of the other First Takes, and I think Su just set a whole new bar thats gonna be hard to surpass 🥲🥲🥲🤘🦊🤘

I do have an explanation for it: Babymetal performed while also being in Sakura Gakuin (which is school themed, all the staff have teacher in their title), they were still kids, they would often have a 'diary entry' as a blog post, here is an excerpt from 2012: Good morningafternoonight. It's Moa. It is a sleeping-out series. You know the place! Yes!! Osaka and Nagoya (for Babymeta) !! We went to Osaka a day before, 7th. I have been there 30 times over for my lessons once a month, and for USJ! So I am a veteran enough to escort everyone to Doutonbori and Shinsaibashi. Yay. ...So Yui and Moa stayed in the same room for our day-one night and Su-chan and our teacher in another room. Yui and Moa first took a bath together, our Babymeta hair were so fixed with wax. We managed to wash our hair while we played with our hair by combing with rinse paste to soften our hair (lol). While we played in the bath Su-chan seemed to come to our room, but we didn't notice her. Sorry, Su-chan. Finally Su-chan decided to sleep in our room because Su-chan loves Moa more than our teacher (lol),

Moa didn't attend the prestigious Actors School of Hiroshima but she is an Idol from the group Sakura Gakuin, same as Su. Check out some of their songs to hear Moa. I recommend the MV of Sakura Gakuin-Animal Rhythm.

Two points: First you should have seen it with the subtitles of the lyrics for a better understanding. Without understanding what is being said it becomes less interesting and just a comment about how good the voice is or the light. Second, the three girls are a graphic prop for true fans referring back to the first videos they shot and an emotional reference to Yui Mizuno and how much they miss her. Shortly after this video they confirmed that Momoko Okazaki will be the new member of the group permanently, since Yui's departure in 2017.

Great reaction. As stated a few times in your comments, you'll need to check out Moabanger so you can hear Moa go full out. As for the robed figures, there are a few theories working their way around the block. One theory holds that the robed figures are a nod to the Old Babymetal when Yui was still in the group. There is support for this because of the height differences. 2 of the figures are close to the same height, while the third one on the far right is almost a full head taller, much like Su was during the Yui years. Since both Moa and Su have stated that Yui will forever be a part of Babymetal, there is reason to believe that the 3 robed figures is to show Yui respect. Another theory holds that the 3 robed figures represents the future of Babymetal as it is expected that on April 1st Babymetal will be announcing a new member who will join up with Su and Moa. Many believe this new person will be Momokometal. However, as it hasn't been announced yet, the 3 figures are all robed up so you cannot see who they are, to keep the suspense. Finally there is a third theory floating around. This one I don't quite know I fully understand as yet since I didn't see the concert, but in the concert I HEARD there was a "second" Babymetal group that was mirroring Babymetal, or something along those lines. With this Babymetal album being from an "alternate" or Mirror metalverse it COULD be the 3 robed figures are there to symbolize Babymetal from a different metalverse. Lastly, maybe it's a combination of all of the above! In any event, those are the main theories I've heard mentioned.
