⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 That was a sixteen year old Su, working without a net. : ) Su sang three solo songs that night. She did 'No Rain, No Rainbow', followed by 'Akatsuki' earlier in the set. I already liked BABYMETAL, but those solo songs at Budokan Black Night made me a die hard fan. Dancing on a small platform raised in the air demonstrates courage. Following up an introduction where each Kami Band member shows off their skills with a solo, shows total fearlessness.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This is the song that I am longing for the revival with Su-Metal's matured rich voice. (Of course I love this version) "Rondo" is a musical form with a recurring leading theme. I can't tell how many times I have viewed this video. It is literally a rondo of happy dream for me. Kamis' (=Gods') super solos were excellent enough as a main event in the show, but once the 16-year-old Queen (as of 2014) emerged from the underground, she colored everything differently with her penetrating voice then turned Kami Band's plays into a ritual to summon her.

Nice one, thanks! They never stopped playing the instrumental intros. Only stopped playing some songs like this "Mischiefs of the Metal Gods" which was normally the intro to "Rondo of Nightmare" (but not always). They stopped playing Su's solos and Black BABYMETAL songs in 2018 (except for the Budokan 2021 shows). Currently, they perform "METALI!" with an intro. Also during Legend-MM (March 2024) they played (in addition) both "Kagerou" and "YAVA!" with their intro. Tell me you have tickets for their London show at The O2 next May 30th. 😁 🤘🦊

Nice one. Budokan Red and Black Nights were at the start of March 2014 right after the release of the first album. You are clearly not watching enough BABYMETAL.😉🤘🦊 The Kami Band still have their instrumental intros as Road Runner said, they have even occasionally added solos during the section in 'Megitsune' when Su is talking to the crowd. Do you have your tickets to see them bringing their Japanese style Arena show to the O2?🦊

Grington, I know you'll be there, I'm so jealous. They will never bring an arena show to Australia so I will have to live vicariously through good folk like you haha. I am off to see Babymetal in March at Knotfest in Brisbane, so I will get a small(ish) dose of them, however, it gives me a chance to top up on some current merch, every cloud has a silver lining.

Love watching the drummer Hideki in this, when the camera pan to him in the beginning, its almost comical how casual he looks while drumming... As if he's not responsible for the machine like double kicks... Most singers might get intimidated having to follow the spectacular performance by the Kamiband, but 16yr old Su just gets up there, and shows you why Babymetal was built around her....As much as I like this performance, her singing Rondo during the 2015 concert was also awesome because she was suspending on a bridge in mid air.....😁😁😁😁 🤘🦊🤘

This time signature of this song is very complex moving from 4,3 to 7,5 6,4, 6,3 etc withis su-metal singing across this in part like a walz. I dont think it will done again as the eastern kami band were so technical and precise but the western kami band - though very good- are not technical enough to cover this. Su metal sings a slightly later version that is much more rich vocally , but this version hits like a knife.

Nice reaction. Su gets to show off her amazing talent and skills with this song. Singing through all those time changes can be difficult. Su seems to do it with ease. While dancing 6' up with lights in her face. I wish they would bring her solos back along with the duo Black Babymetal songs. Or let Moa do GJ as a solo and have new duo songs with Momoko. Looking at their schedule it seems they have a break from mid Dec to May 2025. Could they be recording a new album. It would be very cool.

You two, I beg you pardon, but have't reacted to BM's songs much from its early to middle period, have you? I would love you to react to them. In the period of BM by the original three, it had four songs by Su-'s solo and also four ones by 'Black BABYMETAL' from YuiMoa. That song is one of Su-'s solo ones.The video is the second day of a two day show, Budokan 2014 with the live premiere the night before, and to me Su- seems to be performing somewhat stiffly. That is because I have seen other live footages of this song after this Budokan 2014, but I still think this performance is stunning. Thank you from Japan.

Prefer East Kami Band, same reasons. Don't think Su gets any more solos now (no Black Babymetal either), Moa did some Black Babymetal by herself with the dancers but probably now with Momo (and so much newer songs) they are leaving those behind.
