If your device (or any other that) can receive, can also support a bluetooth keyboard, right? I just tried to connect a bluetooth keyboard to my tv and found out it doesn’t have a bluetooth module.. I tried a bt dongle and it didn’t work. I guess your solution will.

Why does my TCL 617 model series 6 doesn't just have a blutooth option on the TV menu! I think I will just get a 3.5 to make 3.5 10foot cable and call it it a day with what ever low RCA quality comes out of it.

The lip sync looked good when Mr. Rogers was playing with his puppets! A lot of bluetooth devices have pretty bad latency, but the Miccus transmitter and headphones have no noticeable lag! Impressive!

Great video and just what I have been looking for. Now my hearing is shot, I need headphones o hear tv properly, but also need the room sound, in this case, from the sound bar. My Panasonic tx50 dx750b does not have Bluetooth output, so this method will work for me. However, when the headphone socket has been plugged into, will the optical outlet still work at the same time.?

I bought and installed the Miccus RTX 2.0 and Stealth Miccus Headphone. I already had the soundbar installed and don't have too many big drinkers who need to listen to the TV program from the bathroom. Now I can watch TV without bothering anyone. Everything works fine. The only slight problem I had was the Bluetooth pairing. I had to try several times before success. But I'm not a big high tech user and cell phone zombie so that's probably normal. Thanks for the useful info in this video. I'll keep your KZbin tutorials nearby for future technological adventures. Bye.

So with your method, would it be possible to sync two Sony XB 30’s(Bluetooth capable) to an audio receiver/transmitter so the XB 30’s can become my wireless rear speakers? I also have a sound bar so I’m trying to use all of them at once to watch movies & video games. It seems possible as long as I have two optical cords & the receiver/transmitter. databits I have a sony ht-ct370 soundbar, unlike yours, it doesn’t have a button & light to indicate the “opt” mode setting, yet it has the opt port on the back. I have the same miccus as you & for some reason I can’t get the audio to play on the Bluetooth speakers.

Great video, thank you. For some reason though, my sound bar will not work with this set up. My equipment is not identical to yours, but very similar. When I run the optical cable directly to the sound bar, it works immediately, but when I run it through the Bluetooth adapter, no dice. There is a bypass option on my Bluetooth adapter; when I select that setting, the sound bar works (of course, the Bluetooth doesn’t). Also, when I select optical only in my tv’s audio settings, my Bluetooth will not work. I went back and selected Optical and Internal Speaker, it works fine. I just set the internal speaker volume to zero, and the sound comes through fine on my headphones. I am going to swap out the seedy optical cable that came with my sound bar to see if that will make any difference. I’m still happy though; I have Bluetooth for my headphones and I can use the sound bar whenever I want, just not simultaneously, which is not a problem for me, but I’d just like to know what I’m doing wrong here. At any rate, thank you for your time.

I used to repair TVs solely as a hobby. Rca always did get crappy sound. I understand flat screen TVs have tiny speakers. I have a modern flat panel Rca in my living room that I replaced the back lights in it twice.

You could buy a portable amplifier and connect the audio output from your TV to the amplifier and then wire that to your speakers in the ceiling. You wouldn’t need to use Bluetooth.

Hi, this is Jermey McGuire. I have a monster Bluetooth transmitter, I hooked up the optical cable from the tv to the. Bluetooth transmitter.” And paired my LG Surrounded system. My LG Surround system doesn’t have Digital optical audio port in the back. It only has composite audio. (Red and white) thank god for Bluetooth!! My Bluetooth transmitter connects up to 8 Bluetooth devices.” I had a problem with the optical cable that came with the Bluetooth transmitter, I had another optical cable laying around. So I used that optical cable and it’s working!!!

The system does support both input and output from Bluetooth. So you could technically connect this device to your surround systems’ auxiliary stereo input, and play it through your speakers.

Got my tv system setup with Bluetooth transmitter and soundbar. Only difference is my transmitter will only function as Bluetooth or as bypass to the speaker - not both at the same time. But since I got the transmitter and headphones so I don't disturb my roommate that's fine for me. If I wanted two speakers I could pair my soundbar with Bluetooth and then a second Bluetooth Mini speaker too.

Hi, I'm trying to make my non Bluetooth TV with my Bluetooth headphones. I bought a Bluetooth Wireless steaming Audio car kit That has a 3.5MM audio jack. ( $10.00 at Walmart) My TV has a 3.5 MM audio jack I tried pairing two sets of BT headphones with it.. It did not work. Most Bluetooth transmitters made for cars can only pair with one device at a time. Your Bluetooth transmitter must have a dual headset feature to connect to both headsets at the same time.

Easy. You do not need your Bluetooth box to be as sophisticated as this one because you only need one channel, and your setup already has the good sounding audio system. A simple transmitter at about $20-$30 is just fine. Get the audio from the TAPE OUT sockets and plug that into your Bluetooth transmitter. Pair your headphones. Now whenever you need the main speakers to be off, do it from the Onkyo amp's speaker button. Your headphones will continue receiving the audio from the amp but the main speakers will not. All done! Everything that plays through your Onkyo amp will work: audio from the TV, movies, or even music!
