Clearly you're not Muslim and you shouldn't be telling him "it's ok" after you kissed and invited him to sexual acts because God already said it's not ok. Leave good Muslim men alone 🙄

Not touching or inspecting a girl before marriage in our culture is respecting and honoring her & her parents (who may worry about the safety of their daughters when with a male stranger) and its not to invade her private space and her bodily privacy. Being kind, hospital, & generous to ladies is a sign of being a gentleman and being well brought up in our culture and a sign of masculanity and genuine friendship and a sign of potentially being a future protector & provider. You have to understand the culture to appreciate these attributes.

Hello Raya. I agree with you to a point but I believe it depends on the guy itself and the way he grew up and religions play a big role, here in Lebanon we dont have guys like the one you were dating a lot. Just wanted to share my opinion with you on this topic 🌹
@Rayainwonderland11 ай бұрын
Hello Rania yes of course it depends on the person and country. I agree.

You are wrong. I think it is bad to deny something that exists in order to be called civilized in Lebanon. If you are a Muslim or a Christian, you are influenced by the culture and the Lebanese like any Arab.

I came cross this video by chance, and it reminded me a Syrian young man that I once met in the past (as you mentioned your ex was from Syria too). In my early 20s I was studying in England (that was a long time ago, before the war happened in Syria). I met a handsome guy my age, he was a student too. He was always polite and respectful, always had a kinda shy but charming smile on his face; he had dark hair with slight loose curls and a pair of stunning, piecing green eyes. I couldn't figure out where he's from by his look, could be from any Mediterranean countries... One day I was brave enough (after a long time brewing in my head on whether or not I should initiate anything) to say a proper "hello", and used some stupid excuse to get his mobile number. We started texting. It was romantic and innocent. I wouldn't say we were "dating". We met up, went for dinners, chatted...from the outside it looked just like friendship, but we both knew it was more than that. Also we both knew there would be nothing more... we both gonna finish our studies and leave the country (I'm not from the UK) and I am a firm atheist and he's Muslim. We eventually cooled it down and let it go, I've never heard or seen him since... years later when the war kicked off in Syria, my heart sunk, my first thought was what could happen to "my guy"?! Was he still in the UK? Was he back to Syria and trapped? Was he safe? Was his family OK? I felt hopeless and helpless that I would never know... I couldn't imagine anything bad happened to him in Aleppo. I hope he is fine and safe, live in peace somewhere in this world, probably married and with kids.... He probably would never know somewhere in this world, a foreigner that he met briefly so long ago still remembers him fondly and always will.

This level of absolute naivity still astonish me . Arabs ... and good behavior (especially toward women ) . I mean you just came to earth from different planet

I just talked about my experience which fortunately wasn’t that bad. We have many arabs from different countries and of course there are some differences. Most of them don’t have a good behavior I agree.

I think that you judged the Arabs through an individual, and this has something of injustice, so I think the story of the ten children is either a joke or a person's desire, but this is not at all, and I also think accepting my birthday gift is nothing wrong with it in the custom of Egyptian society, for example, and of course if you mean dating in the sense understood by the West, this is originally unacceptable to Arabs because of their religion, this is all I wanted to clarify and thank you

@@RayainwonderlandI am from Egypt and I will tell you that most of us are like your ex-boyfriend. We consider pushing a woman to belittle us or diminish our masculinity. It is impossible for me to let a woman push. This means that I am not a man.
