I think what she's trying to say is that dedication/ sincerity is more important than income. Which is actually positive, because so frequently when you hear people talk about their ideal partners they list off superficial traits (e.g. looks, height, wealth, status). Not that I really blame people for being superficial about money, as Singapore's such an expensive city to live in, but that's another topic. my advise if your dating up guys just own the fact your not rich and dont be a try hard fake rich. Sure alot on the girls wont like you for that but some will which is better then the 0 girls that like you once they find out your faking it. I don't see anything wrong with her original post about "dating downwards" except for the fact that she is openly blunt and tactless online, publicly. Personally I think that a lot of asians discuss about our/others partners income when it comes to compatibility, albeit behind closed doors / private setting. She's probably a gen-z so yeah, these are the times we are in now. Nothing to hide.
