Mostly all clothing shops there are one size fit all. all of there portion are tiny af. If your chubby. ppl will come up to you and bring up ur weight. It’s like that there. Someone I know married a foreign guy, he cheated on her, she didn't know for 12 years. And then came back to India and married an Indian.now they have 2 children together.This happens very frequently in America, which does not happen in India so, Indians are against marriage with anyone else but Indian, or Nepali is also Hindu so that's also fine. At the end they want there Lineage to continue. And if a female Indian married a foreigner, she would be looked down upon by her relatives. I agree with the above comments. Indian youngsters are often judged by their elders and ocastrized if they go for someone not of a culture or a similar one. Some of the older generation place emphasis on continuing their traditional values. I won't say they are racist. You could say they are stuck in their generational views especially considering our history with British people. For most old gen people, they regard all whites as being related to each other . I do know of a friend of mine whose parent wrote her out of his will and disowned her after she married a foreigner, an Italian. Honestly when a large inheritance is at stake, some people won't ever risk everything for momentary happiness. Still she's happily married for 5 years with a kid. All I can say is that it's her parents loss and they lost the opportunity to have someone to provide for them in their later years.

As far as I know pale skin was an indicator for wealth, because it showed that you didn’t have to work on the field in the sun (long time ago). So the skin color thing is something that’s going on for quite a long time. Even in the western countries pale skin was considered more beautiful and was associated with wealth. While I agree with her assessment about Koreans having this bias towards lighter skin, there are definitely Koreans who would date her. It's like anywhere else. People have their preferences, but there are always outliers who can appreciate beauty in all of its forms. I'm half Korean and grew up in the Southern US, but I love every color of the rainbow. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all of that. Also, she is beautiful. ❤

Although it is true that Koreans belong to the colored group, Technically, Koreans' skin tone makes it difficult to call themselves people of color. Historically, East Asians were also called white by Europeanans

Guys come on. Africa , Asia are nations that were colonized by white people . They have been raised in this culture where being white is better . Go to China, to Taiwan , or to some African countries where girls want to be white to feel accepted . The point is , we come to a country and we just want to feel at home but we had the same issues in our respective countries before . Things changed but we have still a long way to go . Also many Asian want to date white because stereotypically, white are rich (because they colonized) and darker skin are poor because considered as workers under the sun (slaves ) . Believe it or not , a darker Korean Asian has less chance to find a relationship than a dark foreigner.

In general it's very easy to figure out what Koreans will find appealing: If you have an East Asian appearance, pale skin, and hair styled like an idol you will get positive attention. IF you are a pale skinned European, especially with blonde hair, you will get positive attention. If you have tan or dark skin, and/or physical features that differ from Koreans you will get largely negative reactions. This applies even to mixed-race Koreans.
