Wherever you go, if you don't speak the local language or even try to learn it, your experience in Korea, Japan, or wherever you are won't be as fruitful as you would have hoped. I say this as a Korean immigrant to the US of 40 years. A lot of the points the people speak bout Korea in this segment are something I also thought about living here in the US. But you know what? Instead of complaining like some entitled brats, learn the fucking language, learn it well, mingle with the people with that language to expand your opportunity, and find out what you have been missing. Otherwise, you'll be just like those immigrants in the US who can't function outside your own community, thanks to that language barrier. By the way, that white girl in a beige coat is a trip. I wonder how much Korean she can speak to understand Korea.
