There's been A LOT of positive feedback (Thank You! 🙌🏾 ), and some not-so-positive feedback (Y'all will be alright 💁🏾 ). As for the men, when we're young our romantic hearts want to find those great guys to settle down with and perhaps raise families. If the men of other countries were so great, there wouldn't be divorce rates or domestic abuse stats or abandoned children. Whether we accept it or not, many of us go around with " rose" colored glasses on. We become disillusioned with our men and seek love based on fairy tales from books or movies from other places. It's an understandable response to the vitriol heaped upon us by our own men and displayed for the world to see in media. The remedy is to not only be confident in ourselves , but to take off the glasses and see men for who and what they are. While still taking in cultural differences, test these foreign dudes as you test American dudes. There's no need to be angry. It is what it is and men are who they are. The world is still a great place filled with attractive men. Date them on your terms not their's. It's not cool to appear to be a "thirsty "chick anywhere. As long as you remember all men are the same you can have a great time. Dramas and romantic songs are figments of writers imagination and not real life. Have fun, keep it light and be safe.

I really think it's the type of app though. Girl do I have a similar military dude story. It was always my #1 rule not to date military and I was also warned by people in military. I have many reasons, but alas I got sucked in. He contacted me first and was stationed in Hawaii and I'm in the states. We talked for months and eventually planned on meeting up. I saved up money, bought a surprisingly cheap ticket to Hawaii and let him know. We had made plans and then come the week of my departure and he ghosts me. I was like, "I don't even have anywhere to stay, wtf?" So I cancelled my flight, used the ticket coupon for Japan instead. I blocked him and as angry as I was that I had wasted freaking money to go visit him and we were talking non stop until that point, at least I got a trip to Japan out of it. I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't know the entire situation, but his unit might've gone on a field problem, or on an emergency deployment readiness exercise. If either of those was the case, he wouldn't have access to his phone. We used to have surprise alerts, where without warning, we just had to grab our gear and go. It didn't matter if your wife was pregnant and due to deliver, or even if your were a single parent. Of course, this was before cellphones, and we just had one phone in the barracks that had to be shared by 130 guys.

Yes girl She stayed! At our dorms we had a curfew so i was trying to home especially since it was 11:00 and a 20 minute walk back from the bar. So I told her I was leaving and this girl said she think she is going to stay and I am like are sure it's getting late I don't want you stay by yourself (me attempting be a good friend). And she said no I am having a lot of fun... and me being salty I said yeah too much fun XDD. So I left her there (she was not drunk at that moment) with them because it was obvious she just was not going to come with me and I did not have time to be locked out of the dorms stranded. I did check up on her throughout the night and in the morning and she ended up staying at the guys apartment O_O. LOL! some people are just bold. But I met my fair share of really sweet guys on badoo so I was not pressed for too long X)
