@@AllUnderHeavn I used ThaiFriendly. There are lots of freelancers (prostitutes) on there, but there are nice women too. Only date women who have never been near the bar or massage scene. Women who have an education and work in healthcare, government, education, etc. are good bets. When you upload your profile, you will be swamped with responses. Do your own hunting, not just responding to women who reach out to you. The best women will generally not reach out to you. 99% of the women use filters on their photos and many use translation apps when communicating with you. So do a Facetime call quickly for screening. Do not move quickly. When you have one that looks promising, head to Thailand to meet her. And BTW, she likely has a kid already, currently back in the village being raised by her mom. Good luck!

When I lived in Bangkok for three years I met different types of women for potential dating. Not bar girls. I was in my early to mid sixties. Some were not well educated and didn’t have good paying jobs. One was in her early forties. Had a high paying job with a major company. Owed a custom made house in Bangkok and BMW suv. The other was in her early fifties. Had a good job and owned a Mercedes. Both I met a few times and still stay in touch with them as friends. One lady I dated in Bangkok eight months. She is an accountant in a major company. So it all depends on the individual and compatibility. Not only economic status.

My advice is if a man is seeking a permanent or serious relationship, the general rule of thumb is go into the country side, rather than the tourist bar and logo bar areas, the woman are genuine, you get to see and experience Thai life style, I know this from first hand experience, us in the west are quite direct, ive found this has left me in of a few awkward situations, although I try to blend in as a new guy in town should, ive made a few mistakes, yet when I tell my girlfriend "please tell me when ive made a mistake" she doesn't , which is infuriating, its difficult for a falang to fully understand what Thai people are thinking, or how to blend in and be accepted, one question for palm, is when I am buying something for house or goods, ill ask my girlfriend " do you like this, or that" she will say, its upto you, since its her house its her call, but do Thai woman like to have a strong leader, or 'am I trying to take over and its annoying her? I want her to make the final decision.

Tim, just dont let your emotions run away with you with this new lady, just be cautious, if she starts asking for money, ie sick buffalo syndrome, its time to say good by, you never know she could be a genuine person, they are not all out there to scam you. weve all been there, one lady I started talking to had a beautiful young lady on her profile page, I know exactly where the famous picture is, it was taken in a shopping area in Tokyo called asakusa, when I latter questioned her about how did her visit to Japan go, she replied that shed never been to Japan .....good by! that was the end of her.

I wasn't looking for a woman when I visited Thailand. She found me. Language wasn't a problem as she spoke several fluently. Two degrees from a European university and a high paying government job I later found out who she really was. I asked ,Why didn't you tell me this in the beginning? She asked what would you do? I said run as fast as could. Silly man,she said,that's why. We were together seven years. Three and a half married before she died from cancer. I will not return to Thailand and will remain celebate.

Most dating experience in Thailand I have is 3 or 4 days with freelancer or massage girls. I like the older Thai women because they already lived but it's just about making money no love, lust yes, love no. Just boom boom.

Most women from smaller towns move to big cities for work opportunities. I think in big cities is better, it's convenient because many women use dating apps, offering more choices.
