You can go on a date with a Thai lady you met that day and it will be fun and easy going. Or you can go on a date with an American woman and feel like you are applying for a job and the line of guys applying are standing right there next to you. And the Thai lady will be way more feminine and attractive.

As a widow, the most important thing I got from my husband was a sense of partnership. We were in this thing together, for 30 years. Not even a thought to infidelity and a commitment to working things out. Our family was everything to us. I feel a need to remind the young men here that when you are providing for your woman, please be sure that she is able to take care of herself and your children if anything should happen to you. Stuff happens. Life happens. Provide solid life insurance so that after your untimely demise (you get run over by a tuk-tuk, or whatever), she won't have to use that feminity to snag another man to replace you. Provide her with opportunities to gain additional skills throughout your relationship and marriage. Learning marketable skills doesn't lessen feminity. It allows her to provide for your children if she ever needs to do that without you. This is such an important thing. Life is uncertain. If you love her, and if you love the children you made together, protect them...forever. Not just now. Forever.

I agree with you. There is nothing wrong with a wife being a stay at home mom just like there is nothing wrong with a wife being a CEO of a company. Hi Forrest, I just found your channel a week or so ago even though I have been looking at videos about Thailand for the last 2+ year as a retirement option. Loved the ASQ series and watched the Pattaya video (and many others). I liked your epiphany on the bald watchers, this video ties into that perfectly. I'm 58 staring at my second divorce and look at western (American) women and think, no thank you, Ive had enough abuse and neglect at your hands. I worked for 30 years as a Farrier in a female dominated industry in a support role, doing the heavy lifting. after that I went into home inspections for real estate sales, another heavily female dominated industry. the attitude of women has changed so much from when I grew up and started dating. this video nailed it and cemented further my decision to make my home Thailand. please keep the great content coming. At first I thought he has succumb to the Thai charm, but you are assessment is echoed with my cousin’s (female) experience. She is an engineer and works for a European company. When she was transferred to Europe, she received a few proposals. She is not comely by the western standards. She finally asked one of her suitor why they found her irresistible. Especially amongst tall blondes they work with in Northern Europe. One of the man said I want a woman who knows how to be a woman, I don’t want a man with breasts.

You say men are attracted to "BEAUTY and 'YOUR' version of FEMINITY". How shallow and superficial is that? What happens when a woman's looks start to fade? What happens if she has health issues along the way and her body starts to change? That's why women should always make sure to have her own RESOURCES. Because when her looks and body start to change, so does the man's "so called love" start to change. None of us know what may happen to us as we age, so going for youth and beauty is not a SMART move. You need to focus more on the character and brains of a woman. At least women are smart enough to care about necessities. We all need money and resources to live or even survive. Looks and all that nonsense you men care about is NOT IMPORTANT or a NECESSITY. Nothing like good old COMMON SENSE.

Women in the american or in the EU have been breaking out of this stereotypes of being dependent on a man. More and more americans in my country are getting four year degrees and getting great incomes. That's upsets a lot of guys that can't compete with their education level and incomes. Going to asia you can't compare a girl that has little to no education to a western woman that is educated and able to support herself in every way.

@loudnoises46273 жыл бұрын
With all due respect, are the two of you growing together at the same rate? As men we have to just go right out and say it. We like being in control, even if it means the mother of our child is not the best example for our daughter. Just being honest right?
@sotalife62303 жыл бұрын
@@loudnoises4627 You may choose to setup your child for failed relationships if you wish, the child will find it's own way, as guidance and examples are the only things parents can provide. So what is best outcome for a Tom or a Ladyboy? Finding a piece that matches your own puzzle is all anyone can hope for. "Just being honest right?" ... What is honest as seen from one, seldom fits everyone's perceptions from their own experiences. Human relationships are subjective, so who is to say at what rate anyone is growing together? Who is to make that measurement and have it a precise percentage? I love the way my wife laughs and she loves the way I laugh as well, and so on throughout countless things we two mend ourselves into one united duo. To some people it's a fight within their relationship, a struggle to remain separate but together sharing the same living arrangements, yet to others it's surrendering to what can become shared. I hope the latter more than first for anyone (including anyone's daughter). A woman can be a smart and successful person yet be a Tom or a Ladyboy or any way they wish and accomplish happiness within their relationships, which includes being feminine, which is the subject at hand. And so, there is no best example or choice to be made by the parent, there's only what the wishes of the child are to become or be in their own life which produces their best happiness. In this way, I do hope my daughter is not setup for fighting, because I do not believe that is anyone's best life outcome. What comes natural is best without the need for anyone to become a jailer. (A quote of Stonewall Jackson from the US Army FM 22-100 "Degradation is worse than death") So in conclusion, to be or become a mate is never to degrade.

@@rodrozil6544 I agree! We're not good enough for them, because western women need allot of extra love after they turn 30, when all those cheese burgers start catching up with them and gravity begins those big wonderful full chests southward. They need much more dedication than I can give them. All 5 of my Ex-Wives would agree with you too! They were way to good for me to remain with them. I'm weak, I'm frail and I just can't stop looking at younger looking women. i think it comes from having been in the infantry all those years, it sort of gives a man a Peter Pan syndrome, where the thought of growing up and having so much responsibility again just turns us into sex crazed, everyone else's daughter chasers. I did stay with my last Ex-Wife for 8 years until she turned 30 while I was turning 54, so I just had to let her go find her own self someone younger. But I did buy her a new chest full of silicone and a tummy tuck to help her find someone even better! I was ready to retire and she was still on fire which was much more than I could handle. It's important for everyone to have fun in their life, because when it's no fun any longer, it's torcher for both to remain together, so I loved them enough to leave them, because like you said, I'm not and wasn't ever good enough for them because I was always getting older and they were always getting younger then I was comfortable going out with any longer. Thai-Ladies look younger even when they're getting older and I'm just too weak and frail to resist them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I find dating asian women with these more traditional dating culture ideas is my preference. ON the other hand, I say more power to the western women for wanting what they want, maybe its just not for you or I. Some of this comes off as just bashing the "modern woman" as an inferior approach and I don't know if it really is, I think its more of a different strokes for different folks kinda thing.
@smartypants61982 жыл бұрын
A lot of what you said would be considered stereotypical. But I respect you speaking the truth. As an American woman, I can tell you I don't want to have masculine energy. The problem is that this culture forces you take on this persona. A lot of relationships don't last here. So, those women who make 250k, etc, the mentality is, "I've earned my way to this level. So it should be reciprocated."
@johnchristopher4642 жыл бұрын
Hi Forrest, I just found your channel by accident and I am a big fan. As a chinese immigrant who grew up in southern california in mid 90's of the tupac era, I can attest that yes, growing up, nobody cared about asian males. Asian females were highly desirable but asian males were definitely looked down on and feminized. So I did the same thing, I stayed with a masculine military hair cut, I lifted weights, I learned Krav maga, I learned to handle weapons - all that nonsense to prove that I wasn't stereotypical weak male. And you're right when I did that, I did notice that females from all ethnicities did show me a lot more interest. I haven't encountered those women that you speak of that are more masculine because I tend to stick to conservative circles, so the females I run into are still generally traditional. I did have a first marriage from someone from the Philippines and that in itself had a lot of problems. So I guess wherever we go, there will always be problems.

I get where you’re coming from 1000% , however, I personally feel that there is a happy medium. It’s easy for extreme views to push you into the other extreme, in such situations one needs to step back and look at things from a neutral perspective. Let’s say a couple doesn’t want kids, ever or just for the time being, well then there’s no point in one of them staying home. Being a home-maker is absolutely a full-time job, but in other situations it makes perfect sense for both of them to be successful in whatever field they desire and contribute as equally as possible, financially, at home, and otherwise. Just some food for thought, women can remain feminine while being educated and successful. It’s when people get carried away and fall into the trap of fighting a battle, on both sides, to the point where they fight even when someone is on their side, that creates all of the negativity.
@rbfarrell13 жыл бұрын
The fights come from a male and a female living equally where there is no leader or she is the leader and you are the simp or wimp.. If there are no kids marriage is a zero gain for men. Marriage gives control over to the woman and family court favors women most of the time. Have you ever won an argument with a woman especially one that has you by the balls?

Can you do a video of GEK dating culture in Thailand? The 3 friends with benefits dating system, for those of us that are not looking for a full-time girlfriend, but also not looking to sleep around with many many different women. I think 3 friends (with benefits) that you can get to know well and rotate throughout the week would be perfect. How socially acceptable is this in Thailand, and how does this usually work?
@SheilaTrueLove2 жыл бұрын
Why do you consider women to be competitive or difficult simply because they have standards and boundaries? You are like so many other males who are misogynists' and don't want to admit it. If you can't treat me the way you want to be treated, then we need to go our separate ways. It's that simple. You don't like women who have a healthy self-esteem or who's confident because you can't abuse them. You can always tell the level of a woman's self-esteem based on what's she's willing to put up with. This is why it's a well know fact that out of all the other races of women, BW have the healthiest and highest self-esteem. Even if it mean when have to remain single, we prefer that than to being abused financially, mentally and emotionally. When a woman knows her worth and her TRUE value, she CAN'T even if she's wants to put up with being mistreated for too long. I thank God everyday that he created me an Ebony lady. I've been married 2.5 times (was engaged to be married again, but I changed my mind). When a man cheat and betray me, I'm done with him. I don't give a damn who he is. Whereas, you have a lot of other women who will put up with anything just to say "I have a man". I will NEVER tolerate any type of abuse and I will ALWAYS stand up and speak up for myself. I also make sure to surround myself with only women who have a healthy self-esteem and who are very, very confident. If that means flying SOLO, then so be it. It's better to be SINGLE and happy than MARRIED and miserable. I know people who's been married for 30-50 years and most of that time the women were living in shear MISERY. They didn't leave because God didn't bless them with the courage, bravery and guts to leave. That is not how most Ebony feel....We have no problem standing on our own and relying on God and Christ. Most Misogynist males equate being "Feminine" with putting up with abuse and mistreatment, and you're masculine if you DON'T put up with that foolishness and stand up for yourself. That's NOT a feminine woman, that's a damn fool and a floormat. Again, thank God he created me a BW.

TLDR: It’s an equitable division of labor. And that looks different for everyone. I offer to pay because I feel like it is only fair, that’s what is expected of me, and I don’t want to expect or ask someone to do these things. So I will pay if my offer is accepted. I don’t feel entitled to anything from anyone. But in truth I’m a single mom and I can’t afford even take my kid out often, let alone take myself out. So I have to budget going on dates, just in case I end up paying. I don’t guilt trip people this way, I just offer when we get there. Usually I just end up getting the tip. I’m really appreciative when people pay though. I feel like there’s more than one way to balance a relationship than just financially. I am not looking for a sugar daddy at all, I’m doing okay alone. But if I were to have a partner, I would love for them to be the primary financial provider. If I can’t pull my weight financially, I can pull my weight taking care of the home. And it’s not that the primary homemaker can’t earn a little money or the primary breadwinner can’t help with chores or cooking. It’s just not their main responsibility most of the time. Like even now, my dad takes care of my car. And He never cooks his own dinner. I mean he’s not my partner but if I were to have a partner, ideally, the car would not be one of my usual tasks. I CAN if I have to, but I need to get my tires changed rn and I don’t know where to go or how much I should spend on them etc. It would be great if someone who knows those things would help me with that. Likewise I’m a decent cook so the kitchen would likely be my realm. It’s just an equal division of labor. We don’t necessarily take equal parts cooking or equal parts funding the expenses, but just equal parts dividing which tasks. Idk. I think there’s more women who feel similar to me in America than is let on. There’s just some really loud aggressive feminists. For me, I am feminist and I feel like an equal division of labor is appropriate. Like there will be times when one partner is overwhelmed and the other will have to pick up more responsibilities that they don’t normally have to do. Sometimes you have to choose which ball to drop. Like in the more traditional patriarchal roles, the men would just go to work and then go to the bar or come home and watch tv while wives continued working. I think this aggressive feminism has led to a further imbalance in a lot of people. It’s led to really lazy men in a lot of cases who feel like well you have a job and I’m a house husband, I did the laundry (but left it in the dryer). That is all. Or the opposite in a lot of cases, lazy women who feel like I have a job but I’m not doing any housework, and my husband has a job and we’re dividing financial responsibilities equally but the women are still doing ALL the housework. It’s just still early in the movement I think and socially, the balance hasn’t been figured out. And a lot of women are finding peace alone. Men think they’re competing with other men, but truthfully they’re competing with the peace women have found by themselves. Hence all the confusion and anger. Because women seem to want so many conflicting things depending on who you ask. But I think when you boil it down, all anyone wants is to support our partner and be supported by them. It’s just a matter of how that support is provided that is up for debate. So you just have to figure out what you need and want from someone and what you’re willing to do in return.

Yes agreeing with you man, dating in America is a fight and a joke now. Watching your videos I'm looking into what I can do to become an expat in Thailand. Hopefully, when that happens I can use the info you have in your videos about finding condos, if so definitely can you that beer/matcha tea man.

Am I the only white dude that wants to reach Thailand that doesn't have yellow fever? Also I don't understand why some Asian dudes think they aren't seen as masculine like is it dogma or maybe it's a few bad experiences? I never bring ethnicity up with women (anyone Really) but I've never heard them say anything diminishing about Asian dudes.

You are speaking facts brother. I was just thinking about that. The feminine energy does make you feel good.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this shift in masculinity and femininity in the U.S.

Great points Forrest! When you say Asian privilege, do you mean being Asian in Asia or is there an advantage for Asian-Americans there?

Being Asian in Asia (also there is an advantage as an Asian American in Asia)

Do you have a preference if a beautiful woman has a long hair or a short stylish hair? Do you consider a woman with long hair is more feminine than the woman with short hair? I am curious on your answers

hmmm a masculine american/"western" axe wielding and tattoted up viking 'Brenda' who curses like sailor vs feminine and soft spoken 'ying' = ying wins hands down.

Big misunderstanding for most Americans about dating in Asia. FACT Asian women are MORE educated. Let me explain: they have as many post secondary degrees as in the West, just NOT useless degrees. So the truth is they are fit, feminine, & educated! Most of the comments that I see when someone does a video like this are referencing an Asia from30 years ago! When I was in Vietnam 3 years ago my gf was a university of Minnesota graduate and a top tier earner. She chose to return over staying in the US. If she had stayed in the US she’d be earning more than me. The brother making this video can confirm this 💯! These girls may want to visit the US, but none I know are interested in moving to the west. Why? They want to move to one of their brand new cities in Asia that are better designed, plenty of green space, pedestrian friendly and look like a scene from Elysium! I’m from San Francisco (silicon valley) and have been humbled by how cities like BGC(Philippines), Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Vin-Homes Central Park (Vietnam) Singapore, KL etc. etc. make SF look like a backwater shitshack! average 5’4” 120 & feminine vs average 5’4” 170 & masculine in the US

WOW, you explanation of what femininity does to a man was 100% correct. Good on you bro for being so honest, I AGREE! I use my full name when I post because if I say something then I meant it. Keep this up and you will gain many more followers to your Chanel.

I agree with everything you’re saying. Especially your very last comment. But in America, they are millions of women that actually already make their man pay for everything yeah they work and keep their own money. That was my case in my second marriage, that crashed and burned after 17 years
