I don’t know if he’s from there or if he moved there to take advantage of the situation, but I would guess that many if not most of the people he interviews are tourists, meaning people that don’t live there. So are you saying only below average thinkers visit Vegas? I would disagree with that. Why? Because Vegas is a fun town, and while there are ways to visit on a budget, it caters to people with disposable income. People that are successful in a way that makes Vegas a couple weekends a year spot usually aren’t dumb. So then, why are the people on the videos so dumb? I just see it as a selection bias issue. The dumb tend to lack introspection which makes them far more willing to share their special brand of fool with the world in a confident way. We all know the smart people that would actually add value to the conversation are seeing the camera + branded microphone, avoiding eye contact and quickening their stride.
