I really enjoyed hearing true men's perspectives on this and...We can try things our way and never get close to the good it would have being from God.

As a young man navigating this exact situation right now, to hear from and see one of my favorite KZbinr/influencer speak life over this situation is monumental to creating a positive perspective!

Hey, my name is Nik, I’m actually in Spurgeon college right now. Which is why it was cool that you quoted him. I have a girl I’ve met a couple days ago that mirrors me like I mirror her. Dating is so important to me and I’ve been hurt more than most guys because I’m an empathetic man. I need to learn how to be a friend but not 1000% that I’m great at doing. When I was younger I never had a best friend so I became the best friend and was hurt often and it shows in my poetry and past relationships. Want to do it right but I’m naturally flirtatious and lonely wolf a lot. Appreciate the read. Love your podcast so far. -Nik

I’m not a Christian but I can agree with some points. However I’d like to say that it’s not necessarily constructive to look down on people using dating sites. Women are not selling themselves and if done correctly and responsibly then it can be a great way to meet someone. It’s a sign of the times we’re in guys

Hey yall, great stuff couldn’t agree more about your advice on taking dating with marriage as the goal and not investing all into it until you are certain it’ll work. Unrelated, A question that I have as a young man in college is how did y’all build discipline and find the motivation in Christ in order to be successful both spiritually and professionally? Thanks for sharing - Jadon

Awesome conversation again, guys. Taking this advice will save so much hurt and regret down the road. Imagine not going into marriage with all that baggage of past relationships. It's not old fashioned, it's just timeless wisdom. It doesn't take much to look around us and see that the "modern" way of doing things isn't working out well for anyone in the end. God can redeem those broken things in our past as well, but how much better to avoid it all in the first place.

I think that these days people especially men need to learn that you don’t just walk up to a woman and “rizz her up” pickup lines and making yourself look strong shouldn’t be how you get a girlfriend, a girl should like you for how you act and how you think of yourself and the people around you. I will always hate rizz and I will teach my kids when I get older how to actually date

I'm 27 and never even kissed a girl. I'm very picky. There's no gods plan lol if I don't get my money together and get out there more I'll be lonely forever. I don't go on the apps but what I go to 100 yoga classes and maybe see 1 cute girl that doesn't have 80 tattoos and piercings all over. To some extent u do have to lower standards
