I'm black and my wife is caucasian and we understand some of the challenges of being an interracial couple. Luckily we haven't had to many issues. Our families are pretty supportive as long as we're happy. It's nice to see other couples like us out there. And the hair thing I can definitely relate too, lol. My wife and I started laughing when u guys were talking about the hair shedding thing. Love wins !

The girl of my dreams, the first girl I liked, rejected me after agreeing to go on a date with me. I found out she said it's because of my race and in her culture it's bad. She is an amazing beautiful person in my eyes and kind and thoughtful, which makes it feel worse because I know shes not a bad person, that's just how she feels, that's how she was brought up/conditioned. And it sucks that there can be someone out there in the world so wonderful, and who's life I believe I could truly enrich, but whom I cant have because of my skin. We had little intimate moments, I got to know some of her interests that made me like her so much and wonder how she got to be the way she is. It's like the world is taunting me. Anyway congrats to you guys and you are both beautiful and have such a good vibe. I would be so happy if you respond to this as you seem like you could give words of wisdom (not looking for sympathy, rather some insight)

Sorry it took so long for us to respond. You truly deserve someone that treasures you, from the inside out. While it’s unfortunate that the person you are interested in is “unavailable” meaning an inability to see beyond your race, you have more to offer someone that wants to be with you despite what the world thinks. We are all here for a very short amount of time, rather than long for what we can’t have we need to continue to create the best versions of ourselves and we will attract our soulmate. Keep your head up and remember everything happens as it should. Stay positive and keep smiling, your ONE will come.

Yes Im black and dated a black woman and she puts butter in her soup but I eat mines plain. She wears shoes in the home I was raised not to. I hate 🍉 but she loved it.

Did you meet each other in Germany, I assume? How was your decision made where would you live together? I don't know, we have conservative states like Missouri or Nebraska, where I would not like to live as a gay person. I assume in Germany they have also conservative cities :) I don't have issues dating outside of my race. Although with white people I did not have success in dating. Regarding to relationships in interracial couples, at least here in US, I feel like it is important to understand privileges you have for instance as a white people. I don't want to go into politics right now, but we do have marginalized communities here, and we have to uplift each other.

We met online before Eash came to Germany. I helped with finding a nice place before she got here. Since she was stationed in Germany, we didn't have too many options city wise. We never really ran into any problems here, I think females have an easier time than gay men all over the world unfortunately...it seems to be easier to accept two females than accepting two men 😔 but overall thankfully Europe is pretty open. I only recall one time where a guy had a whole conversation with me and once I told him I have a wife he got super upset with me and held his ears when I spoke 🙄 🤷🏼‍♀️
