AND she was eternally hip--if she'd made it to 90 she'd still have a lot to say. Unique, uncategorizable❤❤❤

Unforgettable, irreplaceable, one off lady. I saw her twice and cried laughing both times. Famously warm and kind too when she wasn’t performing.

Oh, how I miss Joan. “Better a new face coming out of an old car than an old face coming out of a new car, get your priorities straight.” 😂 Classic Joan!

❤❤I loved Joan Rivers' humor, she was one of the best comedians we had in North America and she was such a kind woman that she gave all her fans a moment out of her busy schedule.❤

When I was younger I detested her sense of humor (not her obviously as aside from seeing her a few times I didn't know her). The life and a TAD bit of age happened and I learned to appreciate AND understand things I didn't then....and now not only I love her but she inspires me. I admire ANYONE who goes through adbersities in life and keeps going forward like the elephant until they can't anymore, famous or not....more often not, but we only find out when they are...and when facing EXTREME adversity, be it health, death or whichever your achilles spot.....crass humor and harshness towards yourself and life Will pull You through, sometimes sweetness and complacency towards yourself won't ger tou through alive. And yes, obviously with age came scars, hence, understanding and survival. Life IS beautiful. But how would anyone know sweetness if they never tastes beaterness? And forgive autocorrect pls

Venus and Serena are strong girls. Believe me Evert miss hair in he ribbons hit bombs herself. Make no mistake . Look at final point in everts 1985 French open win over Martina- a backhand ripper down the line.

Never understood Rivers’ appeal. Seemed like a nasty person to me. But there are plenty of nasty people out there, so she had a built in audience.
