As a '72 Datsun 510 wagon owner, I can back up the spark you feel when you drive a Datsun. My neighbor has a '72 240Z that I've recently been wanting to make an offer for because of videos like this. The car sits most of the year and it makes me kinda sad to see that beautiful blue machine stare at the road under an awning for 3/4's of the year. Great video ElectricFederal!

Had a army green one from 72. I always had a girl in the other seat. What a fun car for a kid back then. It had so many cool features & the seats & counsel with the slide ashtray & the manual choke.

I learned to drive stick on my brother's 260Z...... Before I die I will own one myself!!! My brother used to do every stunt you can possibly do with that car. Less say every summer U-joints and a new cluth were installed lol alone with motor mounts. This was back in the late 80s and it was fun leaving cars in the dust.

Had a 72 that was lowered with front spoiler, Pirrelli's, gas shocks and a header with straight line exhaust, roll bar and Recaro seat. Very very fast car. Blew away Vette's, Lotus europa's, Mazda's etc. Flames out the exhaust as you downshifted back into 3rd at 100MPH. Would do well over 155MPH. Sad I do not have it anymore.

Nice , but dad is building a 72 , lowered of course , fender flares , lq9 6.0 390 HP 390 torque building it up to 450 , gonna be red , should be done in February for a big carshow and I'm telln you , no one here in Louisville Kentucky is gonna have one there but us

I love these cars. I tried to buy a couple but couldn't, and passed (regrettably) on my chance to get a complete one needing to be restored for $1500. I agree about not needing the radio and would rather listen to the car. On that note, why is there music playing in this video while you're driving the car? I was bummed out. Lol

I was looking for a 240z but not having any luck, but i found a really good deal on a 1974 datsun 260z and they look the exact same as the 240z. Should i just wait for a 240z to come around or just do the 260z its a killer deal!
