Correction. When in the vault of glass you are actually in a different time dimension that doesn't align with time in our solar system. That is y Kabr was lost forever, unsuccess with oracles leads to "you are forever lost in the darkness of time," and that the queen in the intro of the HoW prologue mentions the defeat of the black garden eye and crota, but not Atheon

I want to see a Vex DLC where Atheon(or something similar) comes back and invades the tower with an army, and as Vex is the most intelligent race and the most evil, Guardians, Fallen, Cabal have to team up against the Battalion of Vex who are working with Hive/Taken who both have common goals of destroying the traveler forever. The final battle would take place on Earth(new location) with vehicles and laser firing...

an aproach to reforging that can stay in line with destinys power to either deliver or disappoint would be to have the gunsmith totally destroy the weapon but give you 1 of the perks randomly from it to build into another weapon. basically deconstruct many to build 1 really good one over time.

Michael Kilduff If we gained about 31-34 dmg for every 2 lvl's in the previous expansions (Vanilla 300 - TDB 331 - HoW 365), then for lvl 40 we should be getting weapons around 450 - 500 dmg. But with the new light system making weapons even better beyond the max lvl who knows how much it would increase by.

Agreed that Datto has most informative and most technical content. He dives into the math and mechanics to find what is truly most effective, devoid of personal bias. It's the same approach Admiral Bahroo always took with his Borderlands content. I appreciated it when I was playing that game, and I appreciate this now. The reason he isn't the biggest might be his content could be too technical or over the head of some of the younger or more casual players.

Addressing the exotic weapon question, I had the thorn bounty started pre-HOW, but finished it after HOW started, and when the weapon dropped it had HOW-level damage stats. Don't know if that will hold true for the transition through TTK, but there is at least a precedent for it.

Just about that whole last gen question thing and some of the comments below, I remember way back when reading some interview with the team behind Game Design at bungie (the cool bearded dude and some other guys in vanilla Vidocs) and the interviewer asked something along the lines of "So, a 10 year game, will destiny maintain support across all consoles?" And the team answered "Yes, we want to tailor the experience to old gen and new gen alike and maintain support across all consoles" (or something along those lines). So it looked like at the time, last gen was going to be relevant all the way into 2024 when the last installment dropped. Apologies for not having the source, but surely somebody else who has been following the game for a long time can remember this interview. It kinda made me happy because money is tight and it meant if I enjoyed destiny, I could keep playing basically until my xbox 360 broke, and when my 360 breaks, I'm buying a xbone so it works out perfectly as I can still enjoy destiny during my time with my 360 and after and still have the full experience

I have an idea about elemental primary exotics. What u could do is dismantle a new raid weapon to to get an arc/solar/void core that you can use to upgrade your exotic or legendary, that way you still need raid weapons to get elemental exotics

Matchmaking is the solution. They are too stupid to implement it. I can do without raids, but if it had matchmaking I'd try. What would you think of having player housing kind of like in GTA V. It would be like a small social space maybe to hold 1-6 people, and it would kind of be like a private tower. I am talking about joining with random people on planet destiny lfg and running 34 prison of elders , and having a great time playing with them. I am talking about running patrols alone to get those wanted bounties done and having random people join you and each of you know you are here trying to accomplish the same thing. When you finally kill the fallen you each scout the area looking for that ether chest and when one of you do you dance to let your fellow guardian know where to find it. And then there is crucible where I stomp face with my Strangers rifle and vestian dynasty and btrd machine gun. (I am not a try hard who uses the last word or thorn). So yeah that "grinding" is so fun!

then again i think the starting level for ttk is something like 25 (i could be completely off) so maybe they are just nerfing/buffing those weapons so you can use them until you get to higher leveled enemies and have used them to their full usefulness.

I don't get why people say the Stormcaller is slow? its faster then normal running, normal running is the speed of the Golden Gun, Bladedancer ( without blink or jump slashing ) and its the same speed as the Titan Sunbreaker. Why do people think its slow and can't move much? it can jump, it will gain blink and its faster then sprint speed... that's idle for a super that can kill 3-6 people at once....
