Av3rage_Gamer At least we got to be part of (what I consider) an awesome community of dedicated players who loved the game and helped Bungie make it a lot better. We've watched this game grow and now that we've seen a lot of our hopes for this game come to fruition, and we can be proud to say we were part of that. If people didn't stick through with Destiny through it's thick and thin, the game would not have improved as much as it did. People can believe whatever they want to believe but I think it was a great thing being a Year 1 Destiny player. Newer players experience will be a lot better thanks to the effort we all (including Bungie) put in for the game to reach it's potential.

I'm debating deleting a character and starting it from scratch once TTK is released. Sure, I'd lose that progress, but I'd get to experience Destiny (I hope) as if should have been all along; a cohesive and epic experience. Not only will the ordering of the missions be different and quests more present, I'll also be hearing all of the dialogue for Nolantron for the fist time. That would be as close as I could possibly get to recreating the wonder of playing a game for the first time. The wonder that new destiny players will very fortunately be getting when purchasing the New TTK edition. I feel that although Bungie has failed in the past, and so h'what in the present, they are gradually learning from their mistakes. There is no guarantee they won't disappoint again, but I can't see us going anywhere but up

Im going to put my two cents in here as a day zero player. I am salty. Yes, I admit it, I am highly salty about the gear and weapons reroute. Everything else sounds absolutely amazing. I am astonished at the content being added and the way missions and quest are being revamped as such. Still, I have well over 400+ hours logged onto Destiny throughout all three characters. I have done everything in the game except Trials and only have 65% of all the exotic items in the game, and maybe 30% of ANYTHING actually good. If you are serious that EVERYTHING is taking the back seat, please, my only plea is please up the RNG somehow. Seriously.

Im fucking salty that they waited 1 year and 140 dollars after launch to put the content that *should have been in the vanilla game* into the actual game. I think you're spot on with everyone being sent back to lvl 20. It makes sense because that lvl 20 on the inventory screen never went away and they're nixing the light system. Also, all taken king footage ive seen has everyone at lvl 20.

The Warlock killing Vex on Mars isn't all that puzzling. They had a buff called "Boundless Light" which is probably the buff you mentioned when talking about the Titan quest that lets your super charge really fast. Also, in the E3 trailer where they showed all three new subclasses they showed the Guardians obtaining the power on various planets (Warlock was on Mars). The clip at 14:50 is probably just a part of the quest to unlock Stormcaller if I had to guess.

Datto, If you went to E3 and played TTK crucible and brought your cursor over your gear in the menu, you probably noticed what looks like light lvl 34 on your equipment. I think this means you will have to be a certain level to equip TTK gear in the full dlc.

I mentioned this on my speak pipe to you guys when you were doing guardian radio. Unfortunately idk if you even heard it. Honestly with older year 1 exotics like say, hawkmoon, invective, thunderlord, plan C, bad juju, (if exotic gear counts too) third man, saint 14, arma, praxis fire, and a slew of other armors, now we can't have those effects in year 2 of destiny. Which is the point of exotic gear is to have an 'exotic' effect or perk that essentially breaks a rule. And I borrow the rule break from reading something that was quoted off of planet destiny in an interview with game designers talking about the sleeper heavy. So basically next year I can no longer: sling tons of grenades during radiance, blind people in my bubble, get fast revives from alpha lupi and its' warlock equivalent, heal myself on kills with primary, kill hordes of enemies without reloading once and get my super super quick from it, double grenades for Titan, regen ammo and be suuuuuuper bursty, regen ammo passively like a battery, random eXXXtra damage, heal on melee hit every 3 secs and get more armor, and what, a shit to of other good things that will only be accessible during crucible?! Sometimes you NEED or just rely on those items. So just taking them away personally would be a bad call. Also it's a big 'fuck you' to anyone who spent a lot of time trying to get the weapon(s). Ie me trying to get hawkmoon. I didn't get it until June. Frikkin' June! And I still don't have gjallhorn. Also datto if you took the time to read this thank you and so goes for anyone else

As for Vault Space: If the problem is last gen rather than server capacity, it should be possible to introduce independent vaults that store a seperate set of items. For example: You have a vault in the Tower and one in the Reef. Both have a seperate space and and you can choose in which vault you want to put what. This would get around a technical limitation (showing all the vault inventory at once) as it would be the same as it is now, just that you have to places to park your stuff. It could end up getting annoying if you want to switch stuff between the two (as travelling between the social spaces would be pretty much a necessity) but hey, better than nothing, right?

My guess on what light levels are going to be used for is weapondry, for instance "Requires light level 30 to use this weapon" we saw weapons with light levels on them like Light level 34

one thing they could do for at least armor is to make a special quest line for specific armors. i.e. the vault armor and such. it would make it relevant again, maybe change its esthetics a little
