After watching this over. I noticed that this song sometimes lp is a little over the top and does too much with her voice. I would have liked it better if she toned it down a little and didn’t force the sound as much. She has a great voice and i think she over used it in this song.

I just watched your first reaction for LP and I will admit I was a bit taken aback by, not so much you, but your friend's attitude, etc. I was happy to see that "You" decided to learn more about LP and her music. Now seeing you share the music with your daughter is a beautiful thing and just watching her reaction and the way you look at her makes my heart melt! Music should be boundless. I was always teased about listening to music that wasn't R&B (I'm a 54 yr old Black female.) I grew up loving Kiss and Journey and Stevie Nicks, The Who, etc as well as the Jacksons, Luther Vandross, etc. But we as people put ourselves and others in these boxes. We then tease and ridicule those who want to venture out of it of those said boxes. I was lucky to have a grandmother who didn't enforce those things on me. People were people. Music is music. It is what touches you and causes a reaction and/or emotion. It's not about this is for guys, this is for girls this is for Black people this is for White people. It's for people. Period. Seeing you two together makes me happy and hat perhaps your daughter will grow up open and willing to see the beauty in many different things and people. Thank you for that.

I love how you've gone from being a bit gobsmacked after reviewing Lost On You to reviewing Halo with your daughter. I didn't know who to watch more, you or her, lol! One of the biggest gifts I have received from my girls is the ability to learn from them. To listen to their music, look at their tattoos, etc. They both went to a fine arts high school and were very involved in musical theatre. know I'm a little behind the curve here. It says 2018. And it's 2021. Anywhoo....Love LP's rendition of Beyonce's HALO. So Bowzer, LP is growing on you I see. Same thing happened w/ me...and probably many others. Can't deny talent. Can't deny an amazing voice. And ya gotta appreciate & respect someone who's not afraid to be different. Your daughter's facial expressions, reactions & head boppin' is precious & adorable....as she is precious & adorable. I love how you demonstrated to her that you, her Dad, can be an absolute huge fan of one thing, and not necessarily a huge fan of something else, but you've kept an open mind & gave respect & credit where respect & credit was due. i'm 43 & i grew up in the Bronx, NY w/ many one*track minded people. I couldn't stand when they'd say everything suck'd that wasn't of their liking. There's plenty of music that's not my style or taste. But i can't say it sucks for simply being not up my alley or in my wheelhouse ya know. And things we don't like still rake in millions. So it couldn't possibly...totally...suck. It's obvious who has talent in song writing, singing, playing instruments, etc. & who does not. U2 for example. I like maybe a handful of their songs. They're not my genre of "rock." But when i caught a glimpse of them live...I said "one of the best live performing rock bands ever. Again, not my thing. But they put on such an amazing, energetic show." This reaction vid with your daughter brought back warm memories- times when my only child and I had lots of bonding moments when she was still at your daughter's age. She is now in medical school and we now have fewer opportunities to be together, which translates to twice a week at most. I'm much older than you, so let me give you an unsolicited advice. Spend as much bonding moments with your children as you can because there will surely come a time when it wouldn't be possible to do so even if both of you wanted to once they become adults. You will realize how precious those bonding moments are when you get to my age. 😊😊😊
