The best part of the story is that those two young boys finally had a safe home and a man in their life that was a good person. It was very kind of them to take in Libby and her two sons and those boys will never forget that. Libby’s parents should be ashamed of themselves, I doubt their marriage is perfect and their behavior says they certainly are far from it but to turn your back on your own child when they need help is disgusting.

You absolutely did the right thing as a father. The fact that she didn't listen to you, just means that that vile criminal has her manipulated into a corner. The hardest part for you and your wife is that since she's now a legal adult there's not as much that you can do to protect her. She has to discover things on her own, but we all know how much danger she's now in. 😢

The one thing I do have a problem with the dad is that he didn't teach his daughter about how to tell what people are really like. That people, guys especially will lie just to be in a relationship. That not everyone can be trusted and never fully trust anyone until you really know them. You have to teach them to think logically and to be at least a bit suspicious of everything. There's too many scams and scammers out there. You don't want your kids to be an easy mark.
@garigari5245 Жыл бұрын
That's why parents must bring back the stick, give harsher punishment. Discipline your kids before it's too late. This is what happens when you coddle your kids too much! They end up having no respect for you. That daughter is ungrateful, embarassingly naive, and a foolish. Let her meet her own demise at the hands of aaron. She's an adult, her fragile snowflakiness refused to face your tough love/sound judgement. Let her learn how to be accountable of her own life choices. Parents, you are suppose to be the leader of the pack, leading your pack from going astray! Now when you really need to put your foot down, none of your kids listens!

Sounds like the daughter knew or she's embarrassed because she didn't know but to take it out on her parents for wanting to protect her is horrible , I don't see how dad could have Went to jail for having someone investigating? I mean there are websites that will dig into somebody for you online. It doesn't make sense. And the fact that the daughter Is angry at her dad for trying to protect her from herself apparently Show something about her Personality as well.😬 I have 2 daughters and one stepdaughter , I don't care how old they are I will always protect them at any cost, She's lucky to have a dad loves her as much as he does. She is selfish and ungrateful. In the end it sounds like Laya Was just embarrassed that's she was fold so easily by this piece of trash, And unfortunately took it out on her parents for a minute . Her dad is a great man he sacrificed His daughter possibly being in his life just to protect her And lucky he did. If not I would have done something like that I would have told them what I felt, and you would need to give me my money back because I would have took it. Then I would have let you go and be with your criminal soon-to-be husband. But I am the type of person that I will be there for you but I would not take care of. If he did something wrong I'll be that shoulder for you to cry on but I would not fund your lifestyle not after you turned your back on me after I tried my best to get you out of that situation. Every person that opposed to o.p. getting a private investigator to check the background of his daughter's boyfriend, more than likely are people that don't have children. They take a case and their job is to win for their clients. If you lose all the time people wouldn’t want to hire you. Look at Amber Herds attorney’s now as to Johnny Depp’s attorneys. Just because some are on the wrong side doesn’t make them corrupted. Everyone should be able to have attorneys representing them if they need it.
