My mum used to work in a school and every year I'd go along to the School Fete and, when I was old enough, help out. One year they had a Victorian theme and my Mum's first wedding dress fit the late Victorian style, perfectly. She had no objection to me wearing it if it would fit me. (She is 5ft 2 and was a dancer, so she was really slim. I was just under 5"7 at the time and rather top heavy.) It took a deep breath when I got the zip to chest level but with some passably time appropriate ankle boots, it fit me, and the day, perfectly. Not bad for a gown my grandmother made at home!

I adore the Hispanic mom an daughter, and the dress. mom is unbelievable loving. and daughter the same. I'm an old guy, and EVERY Hispanic family I have ever met and worked with (delivering to their restaurants) have been nothing but kind to me. they have a fantastic work/FAMILY ethic, and it has been a joy after 20 plus years to work with the Hispanic community here in Detroit. I was blessed.
