And what's so great is he was SO good, he didn't even need to win the show. Clive Davis as I recall scooped him up and out of there before he could even go into the later rounds. It was a pretty epic moment when it happened because they had to literally explain that moment to the people and why they were pulling him from the show. It doesn't get better than that. He is certainly one of the best to ever come out of AI in my book, I don't think anybody could argue that. For me just thinking about it right now, it's Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Tori Kelly for me as the best to ever pass through that show. I'd probably lean to Carrie Underwood as the best artist to ever come out of AI, but I can absolutely see why you'd say Daughtry. Dude is a top notch artist in every area of his craft.

Oh that voice, there has always been something about the way you sing just gives me chills.
