Throughout the death of my grandfather, grandmother, mom and uncle, this song has always been around to really help with the grieving process. A great cry. Nonetheless, a great song. RIP to his daughter as well. Life can be depressing sometimes. It sucks to have good people taken from us more than likely even a worse feeling to have a bad person take the life of a great happy soul.

I like to twist the lyrics of songs to find a different meaning. This one can work for that to. It's really, of course, about a breakup. But it's retrospective and vague enough as well to fit a breakup with a place. Like a professional endeavor that took years of your life. You understand how much hard work, heart, time and good work you sunk in. But you realize it's not your calling and it will be a springboard into something new. And that's the line, if I can see the future and how this plays out, I bet it's better than where we are now. There are some lyrics that don't as much work, some that shouldn't work but they do- but I like this interpretation. And I like making new interpretations because experience is what all of us have in the end.
