@@matthewpaul526 Yeah, the only thing really keeping Comedy Central afloat in the late 90s was South Park.
@matthewpaul5268 ай бұрын
@xjamesxreedx I remember there was a lot of reruns of SNL from late 80's to early 90's. There was the original British version of Who's Line, the Craig Kilborn hosted Daily Show, Dr. Katz, Win Ben Stein's Money, and plenty of stand-up via Comedy Central Presents and Premium Blend. I loved it, but yeah, South Park really put Comedy Central on the map in 1997.

@@matthewpaul526 I absolutely loved the friday marathons of Comedy Central Presents/Premium Blend/etc as a kid, they definitely helped shape my taste in comedy. I discovered a lot of comedians before they got really big thanks to those half-hour specials, like I remember when Louis CK was a silly observational comic lol

Ay Can you find Jim Bruer's pulp comic show?
@vhscomedyandmusicvault88743 жыл бұрын
I wish I had it, I used to set the VCR timer to tape South Park back in the day, and my VCR got 1 minute of that show before shutting off. I got the first minute of him talking about how his eyes look like he's high all the time then CUT. :( All of the stuff I upload is stuff I had on VHS then converted to digital.
