@abso wep this is because black people have had to deal with things that white people will never understand. for example if an orphan said orphans are great, he isn't anti people with parents. your logic, in fact shows how ignorant you are. you see something like this and automatically think its about some you (assuming you are white , which you probably are), no it's about giving hope to those black people who needed to hear this.

I know many don't know who Jack Merrit is, he was a victim in the London Bridge attack in the U.K. who died. He was a prison rehabilitation officer in the U.K., who had worked personally with Dave's brother who is in jail. He gave Jack's parents tickets to watch this at the BRITs and they had no idea it included that extra verse and were "moved to tears" . I am always amazed to hear that this part of history was left out of the education curriculum in this part of the world. Growing up in a British colony we learnt about the history of the British Empire, it's victories in wars and the Royal family. This incomplete history is still a subject choice for some schools today. Now that I'm older and have read more, I understand why some people can say they did not learn most of this at school. But despite that knowledge gap, most of the commentary has been exceptionally positive and encouraging. Thank you everyone for such encouragement to a young man shaping his career and shaking the world at the same time. I salute.

Blackman JPEG in the mainstream? GTFOH. Kendrick and Cole are our only REAL soldiers and they get pushed aside for whack ass Cardi B, Young Thug, and everyone else that can’t seem to complete a f*cking sentence. It’s strip club music at best, which coincidently is where it stemmed from. Is there quality? In small pockets perhaps, but nothing on scale of the trash that’s being pumped out 24-7 in major markets. Til Drake can find a team to ghostwrite a rebuttal for Adidon, you can miss me with the bs.

Uk hip-hop surpassed American hip-hop long ago because it is more intellectual and political. I think USA hip-hop became to much about selling record and being shallow to appeal to white audiences. True fact the region in the USA that buys the most hip-hop is Utah one of the whitest regions in the USA because white Americans consume more hip-hop that black people in the USA, which is why mainstream US hip-hop doesn’t say anything political as not to upset their target white audience who want black stereotypes like the mumble rappers and hoes with big butts and boobs like Niki Minaj or Cardi B rapping nonsense

@Kiah19954 жыл бұрын
@@bigboi1228 Basically, he's referencing the media scrutiny that Megan faced compared to Kate. Of which the main problem was not the scrutiny itself but that it was based on her skin colour. Media tabloids just were filled with covert racist messages. When compared to Kate, often Megan would be doing the same things but the media would find something to say that subtly referred to her Americaness and why she was so 'different'. It got so bad at one point this led Megan to say something in a documentary about how she was feeling, she said 'its not enough to jsut survive, it's about living to thrive'. This came after Harry feared that Megan life would end the same as his mother princess Diana, because the media scrutiny was related to her death. Ofcourse Diana's reason for beinf bullied was because she didn't come from Royality, Megan on the other hand is her "urbaness". Lol That's the type of shitt they would use in the media when talking about her. After that interveiw, the media was worse than before. Saying that Megan should shutup and take it, since its a privalege to be part of the royal family. The bullying just got worse and continued. I'm glad Megan and Harry got out, I don't think it would've ended well for Megan if she stayed. Hope that explains it.
@bigboi12284 жыл бұрын
Nusaybah Saad Thank you, I understand it now
@Kiah19954 жыл бұрын
@ Didn't say kate deserved scrutiny. I have nothing against kate. People always say oh Megan took him away from his family, BUT isn't Harry his own man. Does he not have agency to make choices? He moved away because he wanted to put his immediate family first which is Megan and Archie. Imagine seeing your wife everyday trying to keep her head above water which isn't good for anyones mental health and there's nothing you can do about it. Ofcourse you'll make the same choice, if you had a choice. Harry and Megan made this choice together, they are husband and wife. People make Megan some kind of witch who's sole purpose is to break up the royal family. She wouldn't have tried to be a part of it, if that was her goal. She embraced his family, it's just Britain didn't embrace her. One more thing, you'll never understand covert racism if you haven't experienced it.

@Nate Conner owed to you? Seriously we owe you something? 600 years ago you have no idea what even happened, Granted times back then was hard (probs) but in today's standards especially in the UK black or white are treated equally, When he goes on about blacks have to work harder etc.. is bull s**t I don't see any black people that willing do the ugly jobs, drainage clearing, bin man etc etc.. They automatically think they are better than that, When he goes on about guilty before innocent, that is because he's on about young crime (knife+bike) crime which 95% in a black community which then chances are the person that's done it is black, People need to wake up and more on we don't owe anything the past is the past, we can't change that, the future is already changed with equality etc.. So this whole song is just to make the divide, the black community still want..

Jakob Schmidt-Andersen Racist Dave If people still keep bringing up race and skin colour we will never progress past it ffs The struggle you mention are all in your head I grew up in a multicultural city and have not seen any difference to how non whites get treated So pls stop trying to segregate and separate each other just because the colour of our skin is different otherwise it’s you who is responsible for this segregation

@JordanF264 жыл бұрын
This statement shows you know very little about rap. Sure, Dave is astoundingly talented, an amazing lyricist and is killing it at the moment.. but the best ever? I'd hold off on that. Artists like Akala, Skepta, JME and Kano have been in the game a lot longer and slaying it with intellectually provocative and powerful lyrics for going on 15 years now. In an ideal word it shouldn't come down to comparisons of who is the best ever, or who is better than who. We should learn to appreciate each and every one of them equally and individually, and enjoy their message and their art. It's not a competition, as much as the charts would like to tell you.
