In my opinion, Katt was essentially just saying that noone in the Rogan-verse is funny, and "6 comedians" was just a rough estimate. The point isn't how or that they responded at all. The revelation here is that someone with real credibility like Katt called it out and broke the wall because these fake comedians have been pretending nobody noticed for years, but many many many people have noticed Joe's little bro circle of unfunny friends, the little clique they have. I don't care what you or anyone thinks of their responses, it'll be what it is. It just matters that it got said finally and that it landed.

Dude actually found examples of 6 unfunny comedians making repeat appearances on JRE (not hard to do) and has all their names ready to fire off if he wanted to go there. Katt is also a man of the people, he's the type of dude who will do the research and figure out how fans feel about these guys so that he almost always hits the nail on the head when he's swinging. If you watch even a single KZbin video about comedy your recommended feed suddenly is full of people being critical of all these guys Rogan pushes. How many videos are there? The entire internet feels a certain way to the point where these 'reaction' videos are going more viral than these guys' podcast and comedy clips do. This video is going to get more traffic and unique viewers to it than the entire TFATK channel will over the next month which means the tide turned on them already. You can't be surprised Katt would notice it too we all did.

Katt’s hasn’t had a good special in awhile. In fact, his last two were terrible. I would say that Tom Segura’s specials have been far funnier than the last Katt special. Plus, Rogan has on a lot of great comedians on his show and he always compliments Katt Williams. So for Katt to take the approach he did shows a side to him that is dishonest.
