"Mrs. Grohl" was my 10th grade teacher in 1978/79. Dave is correct, she was pretty cool and I enjoyed her English class. I have fond memories of her sharing stories about her drummer son.

Barbara LeMere Dave is so mentally stable. He doesn't fit the typical rock star mold, yet he's a bona-fide rockstar.

You could kinda tell, early on, that it requires a pretty good human being to shape someone like Dave. Now we get to see her, and she's just great :-) very laid back, and very open about letting her son find himself without too much pressure. Many teachers have a tendency to control and try to "maintain" children...Dave's mom is not your typical teacher, or mother, either. Great stuff.

The fact that he BLUSHES whenever she says anything about him--especially the part where she says she has a photograph of herself and her "three favorite men...President Obama, Paul McCartney, and my SON!" Oh my. Seriously. Oh MY. ♥

so Carly's You're So Vain is indirectly responsible for Dave's career, and to a further degree, the existence of Nirvana?

Lol it's much better than being a fan of trump. And btw, the vast majority of musicians are liberals. You'll find very very few that support trump... so if you decide on which musicians you like based on their political views youre going to have very little music to listen to
