I was at her home one day in Sherman oaks not knowing who she was, and I saw a picture of David on the wall with President Obama. I said oh cool you know David Grohl... and she said "I hope so, he's my son!" As we were talking she told me she just had hip surgery and I mentioned my mom who just had hip surgery too. Come to find out they grew up around the same area, my mom from Erie Pa and she was just over the boarder in Akron, Ohio, I think. Super cool!

'From Cradle to the Stage' is a really cool & insightful docu-series. Dave has done a few docs and I've think I've seen them all, but for the absolute must-see doc he did is 'Sound City'. As masterpiece soundtrack & the music that was made there is the history of my life.
