Great reaction! This song is a masterpiece of complex songwriting. Kanami often (almost always) goes off-piste when she writes songs. Expect the unexpected! Band-Maid is my favorite band -- I love Lovebitesm Hagane, Hanabie, Nemophila and the others, but I've always been more into rock/hard rock/punk rock/alternative than pure, traditional metal.

She was recently presented by Paul Reed Smith on stage with her very own Signature PRS guitar, becoming the first and only person in Japan with such an honor. there are 1 or 2 songs where there is no guitar solo and you found one quickly lol but don't worry, there are roughly 140 songs to explore ;) BAND-MAID and Lovebites are friends and Asami, Midori and Haruna all attended BAND-MAIDS 10th Anniversary Finale at Yokohama Arena. Dave, welcome to the world of Band-Maid. You’ve taken an unusual route in by going straight into Forbidden Tale off their latest album Epic Narratives. They’ve mixed together several rock genres in this song. I’ve followed a lot of the greatest rock bands of all time over decades and believe me, these ladies are as good as anyone I’ve ever seen. They are phenomenal live so I would try an official live video next. My route into Band-Maid wad the ‘Domination’ official live video. You picked out the bass on this video particularly. It’s not surprising, Misa is the bass player and I’ve not seen anyone who is better. This is coming from someone who is a massive fan of Geddy Lee!

Nice reaction! It's worth noting that Akane (the drummer) has said she deliberately restrained her drumming on this track to give the rest of the composition more space and not make things too busy. The music composition and arrangement comes from the genius that is Kanami (lead guitar). She often/but not always, composes in what I call an orchestral style ie Brass section, string section and woodwind etc. Where different elements of the music are ascribed to the different members of the band, but played together produce the instrumental element of the song. Miku (Red Rose. band founder, Backing vocals, Rhythm guitar) is the main lyricist, with contributions from Saiki (Lead vocals). The rhythm section is MISA- Bass and Akane- Drums.
