25 plus years will change anything. There is a certain energy here that you don't get today. Today you get a slightly more polished version with Tim Reynolds pushing too much to the front sometimes. How many bands from the mid to early 90's aren't even around anymore. I've enjoyed the evolution of the band, and am glad I still have a chance to see them live with a different but the same level of energy.

The Two Step from this show on DMB's channel is awfully strange - it's only 3 minutes 49 seconds long, many of the camera angles are different, and it is heavily chopped up with respect to the full version here, though the cuts are really smooth and I never noticed. I always figured they played a condensed arrangement for a promo show in support of the Crash album, but always wondered about the context behind that video so it's nice to see that there's an amazing looking pro-shot 96 video to come of it!

Yeah man the best days , and not just song wise but I honestly prefer the way his old songs sound played with his custom Chet . I don’t know I feel like the percussive style of his earlier (and imho greatest songs) simply sound better live with the Chet . I get that his dreads he uses now are technically much better sounding acoustic guitars and definitely are especially played unplugged but with the band and plugged in I prefer his custom modded chets MUCH better , it’s like those songs were meant to be played with the SST .

You juxtapose this against more recent vintage stuff, The Warehouse Sessions for instance wherein it's just Dave and drummer Carter Beauford doing an acoustic set is to see how fine musicianship ages in Time. Theirs is a singular, inimitable, style that's instantly recognizable when played. And isn't that what every artist wishes to attain? Well, they did it. Well done boys. Well done indeed.
